摘要: A radiation image capturing system includes at least one image capturing apparatus including a radiation detector, at least one image capturing apparatus including a stimulable phosphor panel for generating radiation image information, which is readable by an image reading apparatus, and at least one control device for controlling at least the image capturing apparatus and the image reading apparatus based on image capturing instruction information supplied from an external source. The control device includes a change setting unit for changing settings of the image capturing instruction information depending on whether the image capturing apparatus and the image reading apparatus are usable or not, and a controller for controlling the image capturing apparatus and the image reading apparatus based on the changed settings of the image capturing instruction information.

摘要: A cradle for use with a radiation conversion device includes a cradle for carrying out charging of a radiation conversion device, the cradle being disposed in the vicinity of an image capturing apparatus which captures a radiation image of a subject, the radiation conversion device detecting radiation that has passed through the subject and converting the radiation into image information. The cradle includes a charging processor for carrying out charging with respect to a battery mounted in the radiation conversion device, an image information acquisition unit for acquiring the image information from the radiation conversion device, a correction information generating unit for generating correction information with respect to the radiation conversion device using the acquired image information, and a correction information memory for storing the generated correction information in association with the radiation conversion device.

摘要: A radiation image capturing system detects the position of a radiation detecting cassette disposed below a patient and the position of a radiation source for emitting a radiation, based on the differences between the propagation times of radio waves emitted from an antenna device to an image capturing apparatus and the radiation detecting cassette. Based on the detected positions, the relative positions of the image capturing apparatus and the radiation detecting cassette are calculated, and then compared with each other by a position determining unit to judge how the image capturing apparatus is positioned with respect to the radiation detecting cassette. If the image capturing apparatus is not positioned in head-on facing relation to the radiation detecting cassette, then a warning is issued, and an actuating mechanism moves the image capturing apparatus to an appropriate position.

摘要: The power consumption of a battery for supplying electric power to a cassette having a radiation detector for detecting radiation image information is greatly reduced. When a cassette transceiver of the cassette starts transmitting the radiation image information to a console transceiver of a console, the cassette transceiver changes the gain of a variable-gain amplifier to change a transmission radio-wave intensity, and transmits a test signal at the changed transmission radio-wave intensity. When the console transceiver receives the test signal, the console transceiver transmits a reception acknowledgement signal generated by a reception acknowledgement signal generator. In response to the reception acknowledgement signal, the cassette transceiver sets its own transmission radio-wave intensity to a value at the time the cassette transceiver received the reception acknowledgement signal, and transmits the radiation image information at the set transmission radio-wave intensity.

The mobile X-ray image capturing apparatus captures a radiation image of the patient (subject) in the patient's room. The cassette serves as a mobile station. While the cassette (mobile X-ray image capturing apparatus) is moving, the radiation image information stored in the cassette is transmitted to a server via a transmitting and receiving terminal, a mobile hospital communication network, and a hospital LAN.

摘要: A cassette device includes a radiation detecting cassette having a radiation detector therein for detecting radiation having passed through a subject and converting the detected radiation into radiation image information, a transmission and reception controller connected to the radiation detector for transmitting the radiation image information to an image processor by way of wireless communications, and a cassette storage bag for storing the radiation detecting cassette therein. The cassette storage bag includes an antenna incorporated therein for transmitting the radiation image information from the transmission and reception controller to the image processor by way of wireless communications. The transmission and reception controller and the antenna are capable of being electrically connected to each other through detachable connectors.
