    摘要: A vehicular power generation control device has a voltage control circuit, a power supply circuit and a power control circuit. The voltage control circuit controls the field current of a power generator by turning on and off a transistor. The power control circuit has an ignition switch closure detection circuit and an engine rotation detection circuit. When a closure of the ignition switch is detected by the ignition switch closure detection circuit, an operation of the rotation detection circuit is stopped. When the closure is not detected, the operation of the rotation detection circuit is started.

    摘要: An alternator for use in an automotive vehicle includes a circuit for detecting initiation of rotation of an engine. Upon detecting the initiation of rotation, excitation current supply to a field winding is started, and thereafter an alternator output is controlled by controlling the excitation current. A resistor is connected to one phase winding of an armature to obtain a voltage indicating initiation of rotation during a period in which no excitation current is supplied to the field winding, and a capacitor is connected to another phase winding to raise the indicating voltage level. Since the indicating voltage induced by a small amount of residual magnetism is increased to a sufficient level by the capacitor, the initiation of rotation can be accurately detected.

    摘要: A vehicular AC generator comprises a resistor for ground one-phase output terminal in an armature coil, a switch for connecting and disconnecting at least one-phase output terminal out of the other phases of the armature coil to and from the ground, and a control unit for controlling the switch. The switch is controlled ON and OFF in accordance with a voltage generated across the resistor. According to this configuration, in the event of occurrence of leakage current in the armature coil, the occurrence of the leakage current is detected based on the voltage generated across the resistor and the switch is closed, whereby the leakage current is allowed to escape to ground and an actual signal from the resistor is detected easily.

    摘要: A generating apparatus includes a generator, a first and a second rectifiers, and a voltage regulator. The generator has three-phase star-connected armature windings which generate three-phase high-output voltage at phase-terminals and low-output voltage at a neutral point. The first rectifier is a three-phase full-wave rectifier connected between the phase-winding and a high-voltage load, and the second rectifier is a diode connected between the neutral point and a low-voltage load with a battery. The regulator regulates the high output voltage to energize the high-voltage load and, at the same time, the low-output voltage to become an optimum voltage level for charging battery. MOSFETs may be used for the first rectifier to short-circuit the armature windings thereby supplying them with leading currents which are respectively ahead of the high-output voltages, so as to increase the generator output power.

    摘要: An operating mechanism for a circuit breaker including a frame, a spring shaft mounted on the frame and rotatable around a central axis thereof, a spring case having a notch in an outer periphery thereof and rotatable around the central axis, a rotating spring provided in the spring case and having a first end secured to the spring shaft and a second end secured to the spring case, a cam secured to the spring shaft and rotatable along with the spring shaft, and a catch rotatably mounted on the spring case. The catch is at an original position at the notch inside the outer periphery of the spring case by a spring. The operating mechanism further includes a charging device for rotating the spring case to charge the rotating spring and a control lever rotatably mounted on the frame and having an end portion engaged with the cam, the catch and the outer periphery of the spring case for performing closing and opening control of the charging device. The spring shaft is rotated by a driving force of the rotating spring for causing the control lever to perform the closing control of the charging device. The spring case is rotated by the charging device to charge the rotating spring for causing the control lever to perform the opening control of the charging device.
