The invention also provides selective binding agents, vectors, host cells, and methods for producing TSLPR polypeptides. The invention further provides pharmaceutical compositions and methods for the diagnosis, treatment, amelioration, and/or prevention of diseases, disorders, and conditions associated with TSLPR polypeptides.

The compressor contains at least one piston (5) guided in a dry-running manner which, together with a cylinder insert (33), bounds a ring gap which is open over the common longitudinal section in each case and permits a leakage flow of the compressed medium. The piston (5) is coupled via a piston rod (42) to a support part (38) which is displaceably guided in the direction of its longitudinal axis (6) and is connected to a drive device. The piston rod (42) cooperates with the piston (5) and the support part (38) via support surfaces (43) which are convex at the end faces and permit relative movements of the support part (38) with respect to the piston (5) which extend transversely to the longitudinal axis (6). Accordingly, a parallel guidance of the piston (5) in the cylinder insert (33) is achieved which is not influenced by oscillations of the driving parts. An apparatus for applying substantially uniform tension to warp threads along a warp thread path in a weaving machine. The apparatus has a carrier element (5), a tensioner element (7) for the warp threads which is multiply supported thereon, said tensioner element being pivotal about the axis of the carrier element, and a drive apparatus (8) which is connected drivewise to the carrier element. The drive apparatus (8) consists of a motor (9) and a kinematic chain which is connected to the carrier element (5) in such a manner that the introduction of the forces into the carrier element takes place substantially symmetrically with respect to its longitudinal extent.

A copper alloy for bridle bits and similar items including 81-88%, by weight, of copper, less than 4%, by weight, of silicon, and the remainder zinc including impurities. The alloy is characterized by high strength and readily stimulates the horse to chew on the bit. The lack of nickel in the alloy is also safer for the horses. A method of manufacturing including casting the bridle bit from the copper alloy. A method of using the bridle bit includes casting the bridle bit, placing it into a horse's mouth, stimulating the horse to quick chewing on the bridle bit and controlling the horse's pace and speed due to the stimulation to quick chewing.

The reciprocating compressor is made with yoke units which connect opposite pairs of pistons while eliminating play between the yoke units and sliding block. Each yoke unit includes a pair of shoes which are removably secured to the pistons and which are adapted to guide the sliding block moved by a crankshaft. Each yoke unit also includes a clamp ring which surrounds the shoes and which biases the shoes towards the sliding block. The shoes are removably secured to the pistons to permit the yoke unit to be readily disassembled. Bow-shaped clamping members may also be employed within each yoke unit to further bias the clamp ring against the shoes.

The valve arrangement comprises a disc engageable with a valve seat without attachment and a resilient diaphragm engageable with the disc without attachment. The disc completely covers a passage surrounded by the valve seat and flowed through by a fluid. On the side remote from the valve seat, the disc has a central protuberance which cooperates with a central thrust surface of the diaphragm. The disc and the diaphragm are freely movable in a recess adapted to be flowed through by the fluid, the recess being present in a guide member extending around the valve seat. The recess has an inwardly projecting step with which the diaphragm edge part is urged into engagement. This arrangement leads to a flat compact valve with minimum dead space.

The safeguard device has a light beam emitter secured to a pivotal lever for movement between an operative position and a retracted position. In addition, a plate is pivotally mounted relative to the lever to move with the lever. The plate is formed with a recess to expose the light beam when the lever is in an operative position and is otherwise shaped to mask the emitter when the lever is pivoted into a retracted position. Masking of the light beam serves to signal a need for interrupting the operation of the weaving machine.

The curtain rod acts as shield concealing the runners and the upper edge of the curtain. The runners are guided by edges of slots in the inner and outer rod sections by means of grooves. The grooves receive the slot edges of the inner as well as outer rod section of the telescoping curtain rod only at the area of transition between inner and outer rod section. The runners glide back and forth between the outer rod section and the inner rod section without impinging at any place. This is due to the design according to which mentioned edges of the slots cooperate exclusively with only one each of two grooves present in the runners, each groove alocated to one respective guiding edge.
