摘要： A device disclosed herein is used with an electric submersible pump (ESP) assembly disposed on tubing in a well. A housing of the device connects between tubing and pump. A shaft in the housing can rotate in response to imparted rotation associated with the pump and permanent magnet (PM) motor. A piston in the housing can move longitudinally relative to the shaft in response to a pressure differential across the piston. A clutch on the piston can engage and disengage with a distal end of the shaft in response to the piston's movement of the piston. Additionally or alternatively, a key on the piston can engage and disengage with a pocket on the shaft. The engagement of the clutch and/or key can prevent imparted rotation associated with the pump and the PM motor.

a sealing assembly accommodated in said seat, and adapted to ensure the fluid-tightness along said circumferential perimeter;
the sealing assembly comprising a plurality of sealing elements, having shapes complementary to one another, and configured so that the wear of a sealing element along said circumferential perimeter corresponds to a sliding in the radially outer direction of the adjacent sealing element.

摘要： Provided is a metering pump. The metering pump includes a motor and a motor shaft and a pump housing having an inlet port and an outlet port. Encased within the pump housing and engaged to the motor shaft is a piston. The motor shaft imparts rotational movement upon the piston. The metering pump further includes two barrel cam halves engaged to the piston. Between the two barrel cam halves is a cam follower pin which in combination with the two barrel cam halves allows the piston to move in a reciprocating manner upon rotation of the motor shaft. Thus, the piston is capable of moving in both a rotational and reciprocating manner along the same axis.
