    摘要: The present invention provides an improved design for a mechanical pump. The pump is a dual chamber design typically including a pair of expandable bellows driven in a reciprocating fashion by a supply of pressurized air. The use of expandable bellows reduces wear on the pump thereby lengthening the required maintenance intervals in comparison with dual chamber diaphragm pumps previously known. Additionally, the pump is easily disassembled for inspection, cleaning or maintenance. Furthermore, the high strength of the pump's design makes it possible to manufacture the pump entirely of corrosion resistant materials.

    摘要: A variable capacity vane compressor includes a bearing arrangement having a radial bearing radially supporting a drive shaft of the compressor, and a thrust bearing rotatably supporting a capacity control element. The bearing arrangement comprises an annular member fixed in a through hole formed through a side block of the compressor, through which the drive shaft extends. The annular member has an inner peripheral surface in which the radial and thrust bearings are received. The annular member is formed of a material having a coefficient of thermal expansion substantially equal to that of a material forming the radial bearing. The thrust bearing has a first race disposed on a side thereof close to a rotor of the compressor, and a second race disposed on a side remote from the rotor. The first race is force-fitted in a through hole formed through the capacity control element and slidably fitted in the inner peripheral surface of the annular member. The first and second races have respective inner peripheral surfaces thereof spaced from an outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft.

    摘要: The compressor comprises at least one high-pressure cylinder and piston unit having a piston which is guided in a cylinder liner and which is coupled with a crankshaft by way of a connecting element guided in the cylinder casing along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder. The piston is coupled with the connecting element by way of a mounting permitting movements of the connecting element relatively to the piston transversely of the longitudinal axis. Guidance of the piston is achieved without affect from oscillations of the connecting. The piston cooperates with the liner to bound a lubricant-free annular gap open over the whole longitudinal portion common to the liner and the piston. A dry gap ring seal can therefore be provided between the piston and the liner and ensures that the compression chamber remains seal tight even at pressures of above 60 bar. Preferably, the piston and the cylinder liner are each made of wear-resistant metal or ceramic material.

    摘要: A high pressure, positive displacement piston pump for pumping a corrosive fluid is disclosed. The pump includes a pump body having a plurality of cylinders therein, each provided with an inlet and an outlet. A suitable one-way valve device is disposed in a connection between the inlet and the cylinder, and another oppositely directed one way-valve device is disposed in a connection betweenn the outlet and each cylinder. A piston is disposed in each cylinder for reciprocal movement therein in order to pump the fluuid from the inlet to the outlet. A cam device moves each piston reciprocally and includes a rotating member having a first camming surface which is cylically rotated adjacent an end of each piston. At the end of each piston, a second camming surface is provided which engages the first camming surface. A cooling system is also provided for cooling and lubricating the first and second camming surfaces with a coolant liquid in contact with the bearing surfaces within the pump. The coolant liquid can be and in the preferred embodiment is the corrosive liquid being pumped. A shaft is preferably used for rotating the rotating member and a suitable journaling device is provided for the shaft. The shaft is also non-corrodible, and the coolant liquid also cools and lubricates the journaling device as well as the shaft.
