摘要： An adjustment of a transfer of printing ink is accomplished by arranging a first roller in an inker unit and by using that first roller to transfer ink to a forme cylinder. A temperature is adjusted on an outer surface of the first roller by the use of a first temperature control unit which includes an adjuster device. The adjuster device also adjusts a temperature to be set on an outer surface of the forme cylinder by the use of a second temperature control unit. These two temperature control units adjust parameters of the printing ink through the controls of the outer surfaces of their associated first roller and forme cylinders. The parameters of the printing ink which are adjusted are preferably the ink's tackiness and its viscosity.

摘要： An inking system of a printing press is utilized for inking a printing cylinder. The inking system is configured as a long roller inking system and includes two distributing cylinders that are disposed serially in a roller train. A first one of these distributing cylinders is mounted, in the roller train, close to the printing cylinder. The other of these distributing cylinders is mounted, again in the roller train, further away from the printing cylinder. The printing cylinder is rotationally force-driven by an angle position controlled drive motor. One of the two distributing cylinders of the inking system is rotationally force-driven by a drive motor that is mechanically independent of the drive for the printing cylinder. The other one of the two distributing cylinders is rotationally driven by frictional engagement with adjacent rollers or cylinders. It is thus configured without a mechanical drive connection to one of the drive motors other than the frictional engagement with the adjacent roller or cylinders which are intended to rotationally drive it.

摘要： A forme cylinder is supported and adjusted in a printing group of a rotary printing press, which group includes a transfer cylinder and a counter-pressure cylinder, which two cylinders include interacting support elements. The forme cylinder does not include a support element which interacts with the transfer cylinder. The forme cylinder has a shaft distance that can be adjusted during printing to adjust a contact pressure between the forme cylinder and the transfer cylinder. The forme cylinder may be covered with a waterless printing forme. The contact pressure between the forme cylinder and the transfer cylinder can be adjusted to a property, such as the compressibility, of the waterless printing forme.

Specific curves or reference points for an interrelationship between a production speed of a printing machine and the respective required temperature on the outer surface of the forme cylinder, or on the outer surface of the first roller are stored in a storage unit of the adjusting device for various printing inks or ink types.

摘要： A device is provided for use in storing a blanket that is to be exchanged on a cylinder of a printing machine and which has a plurality of blankets on its periphery. The blanket to be exchanged is stored in a tray that includes at least one code reader which will detect a characteristic that was applied to the blanket for purposes of its identification. The detected characteristic is matched with a plan that is used to accomplish a planned printing process. If a discrepancy in the match is noted, a message, which warns of the presence of an incorrect blanket, is generated before that incorrect blanket is mounted on the cylinder.

Several such dressings may be arranged next to each other in the axial direction of the cylinder. The pressing elements, used in connection with one of the plurality of dressings, are operable independently of other pressing elements that are used in connection with other ones of the dressings. These pressing elements may be provided as roller elements. Additional pressing elements are located, spaced in a circumferential direction of the cylinder, from the other pressing elements. The two frame plates in each of the frame parts accommodate at least one cylinder or roller which extends between them. The two lateral frame plates in each frame part are spaced from each other in an axial direction of the supported cylinder or roller. Adjacent ones of the frame parts are connectable to each other by abutting of their respective lateral frame plates. At least three locking and/or centering devices are used to align and to lock together the lateral frame plates of adjacent ones of the frame parts.
