摘要: The focus is automatically shifted among a plurality of application windows which are displayed concurrently. In order to achieve this, in the present invention, an interruption of communication processing started by an application corresponding to a first window displayed with the focus is detected. Then a second window to which the focus is to shift is determined based on the detection result and state data. As a result, the focus is automatically shifted, based on the determination result, from the first window displayed on a display section to the second window.

摘要: A rotation angle detecting device includes a magnetic member for providing a magnetic field, a magnetic sensor for sensing a change in the magnetic field when the magnetic member rotates relative to the magnetic sensor about a rotation axis. The magnetic sensor is disposed at a single position and includes a pair of sensor elements. The pair of sensor elements is disposed on an imaginary plane that is perpendicular to the rotation axis so that sensing surfaces of the sensor elements have 90 degrees in angle to each other and so that each of the sensing surfaces inclines by 45 degrees in angle to a line intersecting the rotation axis at right angles.

摘要: A coil of an electric motor is cooled by refrigerant. A controller for the electric motor controls a current supplied to the coil within a range less than or equal to a predetermined maximum value. A temperature detection section detects either a temperature of the coil or a temperature about the coil. When a detection temperature that is detected by the temperature detection section prior to activation of the electric motor reaches a predetermined reference temperature, a limiting section executes a limiting control to limit an upper limit value of the current supplied to the coil to a limiting value that is less than the maximum value. Accordingly, the coil of the electric motor is protected without stopping the operation of the electric compressor immediately after activation.

摘要: A rotation angle detecting device includes a magnetic field forming member, magneto-sensing IC circuit including first and second sensing sections in a magnetic field to have a first preset angle between them, and a selecting circuit. One of the first and second sensing section includes plural magneto-sensing elements whose sensing surfaces face in directions different from one another by a second preset angle. When the magnetic field forming member rotates relative to the magneto-sensing means, the magneto-sensing elements respectively provide the output signals. The selecting circuit selects a pair of the output signals of the magneto-sensing elements that is closest to a preset phase difference angle.

摘要: An improved rotation angle detecting device that detects a rotation angle of a first member relative to a second member is proposed. The rotation angle detecting device includes a magnet unit fixed to the first member and a pair of magnetic sensors fixed to the second member to provide output signals whose phase is different from each other at 90 degrees in angle. The magnet unit includes a pair of disk plates that has the same magnetic poles at the same circumferential positions and is disposed at a prescribed axial distance and a shaft that is made of magnetic material to support the disk plates at the center thereof. The magnetic unit provides a uniform magnetic field in a space around the shaft between the pair of disk plates, and a pair of magnetic sensors is disposed in the space.

摘要: An N-type epitaxial layer is formed on a p-type silicon substrate. Four N+ regions (diffusion regions used as electrodes) are formed in the N-type epitaxial layer. An insulation layer having a fixed depth is formed around each of the N+ regions on a principal surface of an epitaxial layer. The insulation layer restricts a current path region formed between the N+ regions. Side surfaces of the N+ regions are covered by the insulation layer. The N+ regions are brought into contact with the epitaxial layer by a bottom surface exposed from the insulation layer.

摘要: A duct is installed in an apparatus housing. The duct has an outside inlet, a first discharge opening, a second discharge opening, and an air filter. Outside air is taken into the duct from the outside inlet through the air filter. The air filter filters the outside air to prevent dust from getting into the duct. A cooling axial flow fan disposed in the vicinity of each of the first and second discharge openings. The cooling axial flow fans blow the filtered outside air into fixing devices to be cooled. Gaps are formed between the cooling axial flow fan and the first discharge opening, and between the other cooling axial flow fan and the second discharge opening, as inside inlets. When the air filter clogs, air in the housing is supplied to the cooling axial flow fans through the gaps, to circulate the air inside the housing.
