    摘要: An image forming method for forming a full color toner image by overlaying four color electrostatic image developing toners of black, yellow, magenta and cyan, wherein at least one of the four color electrostatic image developing toners is a toner containing a large diameter external additive in a larger amount and at least one is a toner containing the large diameter external additive in a smaller amount, in which the primary particle diameter of the large diameter external additive is from 150 nm to 2,000 nm, the content of the large diameter external additive in the toner containing the large diameter external additive in larger amount is from 0.06% by weight to 4.0% by weight and the content of the large diameter external additive in the toner containing the large diameter external additive in the smaller amount is not more than 0.05% by weight.

    摘要: A toner preparation process is disclosed. The process comprises a step of stirring the premixed colored resin particles and inorganic fine particles in the presence of mixing medium having a substantially spherical shape in the container, and a step of collecting toner particles comprised of the colored resin and inorganic particles thereon having a predetermined size by classifying at the stirring step.A continuous method for manufacturing a toner for an electrostatic imaging is provided. The resulting toner is low in electricity consumption, free from limitation on processing volume, and the method is capable of improving productivity and reducing manufacturing cost.

    摘要: A method of fixing a toner image on a supporting member by bringing the supporting member supporting thereon the toner image into pressure contact with a fixing roller, wherein an elasticity improving agent for increasing the elasticity of the toner upon coming into contact with the toner is disposed on a member which comes into direct or indirect contact with the outer circumferential surface of the fixing roller.The elasticity improving agent is a material causing the reaction which increases the molecular weight of the binder resin of the binder and/or a reaction promoter for such a reaction.The elasticity improving agent is selected from a group consisting of:(a) agents which are capable of enhancing the elasticity of toner material,(b) polyhydric alcohols,(c) polyvalent amines and(d) polyvalent carboxylic acids.
