摘要: To provide a control valve for use in a variable displacement compressor, for fixed flow rate control, which can be constructed compact in size without necessitating pressure sensors for detecting a differential pressure. The control valve comprises a first valve having configuration of a check valve that opens and closes by the differential pressure between discharge pressure from a discharge chamber and discharge pressure at an outlet port of the compressor, a second valve that opens and closes by sensing the differential pressure between the discharge pressure Pdh and pressure in the crankcase, and a solenoid that sets the differential pressure across the first valve. The motion of a valve element of the first valve is transmitted to a valve element of the second valve via a shaft. With this arrangement, the second valve controls the pressure in the crankcase such that the differential pressure across the first valve becomes equal to a fixed value set by the solenoid, whereby the flow rate of refrigerant discharged from an outlet port of the compressor can be controlled to be constant.

摘要: To provide a control valve for a variable displacement compressor, which is capable of promptly restoring a high-sensitivity variable displacement compressor to a predetermined discharge capacity without causing hunting even when the rotational speed of the compressor is rapidly changed. A valve section controls the flow rate of refrigerant flowing from a discharge chamber to a crankcase, based on the differential pressure between discharge pressure and suction pressure. A pressure-sensing section is provided in a high-pressure port, and when a pressure-sensing piston having a pressure-receiving area larger than that of a valve element is exposed to a rapid change in the discharge pressure, the differential pressure generated between the discharge pressure and pressure in a pressure-adjusting chamber acts on the valve element in a direction opposite to a valve-opening/closing direction, to thereby temporarily make slower the motion of the valve element which is to be opened or closed by the differential pressure between the discharge pressure and the suction pressure. This makes it possible to promptly restore a high-sensitivity variable displacement compressor to a predetermined discharge capacity without hunting.

摘要: To provide a control valve for a variable displacement compressor, which is capable of promptly restoring the compressor to a predetermined discharge capacity even when the rotational speed of an engine is rapidly changed. In a valve section for controlling the flow rate of refrigerant flowing from a discharge chamber into a crankcase of a variable displacement compressor, a pressure-sensing section is provided in a high-pressure port that receives discharge pressure. In the pressure-sensing section, when a pressure-sensing piston which is larger in pressure-receiving area than a valve element receives a change in discharge pressure caused by a rapid change in rotational speed of the engine, differential pressure is produced between discharge pressure Pd and pressure in a pressure-adjusting chamber, which temporarily produces a force for axially moving the piston. This force is transmitted to the valve element via a shaft, to thereby accelerate the opening/closing motion of the valve element caused by the differential pressure between discharge pressure and suction pressure, whereby the compressor is promptly restored to a predetermined discharge capacity.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to prevent refrigerant from flowing out into a vehicle compartment due to damage to an evaporator or piping associated therewith. A solenoid valve is arranged at an inlet of an evaporator, and a check valve is arranged at an outlet of the evaporator. When operation of a system is to be stopped, the solenoid valve is closed while a compressor is kept operating for a predetermined time to suck out refrigerant from the evaporator to a downstream side of the check valve, so that during stoppage of the operation, the check valve prevents the refrigerant from flowing back into the evaporator. Thus, even if the evaporator arranged in the vehicle compartment or piping associated therewith is damaged, a situation where a large amount of refrigerant flows out of the evaporator into the vehicle compartment does not occur because no refrigerant remains in the evaporator, making it possible to prevent occupants in the vehicle compartment from being put in a grave situation.

摘要: To provide a refrigerant relief device which releases refrigerant in a refrigeration cycle to the outside of a vehicle compartment, when the refrigerant releases into the vehicle compartment, or when there is a fear that the refrigerant releases into the vehicle compartment. A metal thin film is welded in advance to a body connected to piping of a refrigeration cycle such that it blocks a refrigerant inlet passage. When leakage of refrigerant into a vehicle compartment or collision of an automotive vehicle is detected, pulse current is applied to a coil of a solenoid, whereby a movable core is attracted to a fixed core. This causes a piercing rod fixed to the movable core to pierce the metal thin film with its pointed tip to make a hole through the metal thin film. When application of the pulse current is stopped, the piercing rod is returned to the standby position by a spring, so that the refrigerant is released to the outside of the vehicle compartment by passing through a conduit via the opened hole.

摘要: To provide a capacity control valve for a variable displacement compressor of a Pd-Ps differential pressure-controlled type, which suppresses overshooting of the differential pressure between the discharge pressure Pd and the suction pressure Ps which can occur when the differential pressure is changed in response to a stepwise change in the solenoid current. The capacity control valve includes a valve section having a Pd-Pc valve for control of the flow rate of refrigerant flowing from a discharge chamber to a crankcase and a Pc-Ps valve for control of the flow rate of refrigerant flowing from the crankcase to a suction chamber operating in a manner interlocked with the Pd-Pc valve. A spool valve element is provided on a valve element of the Pc-Ps valve, whereby in a stroke region where the Pd-Pc valve is toward the fully-closed position, refrigerant is allowed to pass through the clearance between the spool valve element and the valve hole of the Pc-Ps valve, to cause the Pc-Ps valve to have a characteristic that the opening area thereof does not change in response to a change in stroke. This makes it possible to suppress sharp changes in the pressure Pc in the crankcase due to the existence of the clearance, even if the solenoid current is stepwise sharply changed.

摘要: To provide a small-sized and low-cost proportional solenoid valve which is capable of controlling a bidirectional fluid flow. A core is fixed in a pipe, and a hollow shaft having an extreme end thereof closed by a valve seat and a portion adjacent thereto formed with valve holes is fixed in the core. Within the pipe, there are arranged a hollow cylindrical valve element axially movable using the shaft as a guide and urged in a direction away from the core by a spring, for opening and closing the valve holes, and a plunger, while outside the pipe, there is arranged a solenoid coil. The proportional solenoid valve has a body formed by the pipe, and the component parts for opening and closing the valve are arranged within the pipe, so that it is possible to reduce the size of the proportional solenoid valve, the number of component parts, and machining costs and material costs, which contributes to reduction of costs of the valve. Further, since the operation of the hollow cylindrical valve element for opening and closing the valve holes is not adversely affected by the direction of the fluid flow, it is possible to control a bidirectional flow of fluid.

A capacity control can be set such that the capacity of a compressor only is allowed to start to decrease from a maximum capacity when a compressor suction pressure ps has dropped to a value of 2 atmospheres (absolute pressure) or less in a state in which refrigerant flows through a condenser without passing through a bypass line.

摘要: At the suction side of a variable displacement compressor a valve structure is provided which either responds to a relative differential pressure value or a relative pressure value or a relative temperature value of the refrigerant processed by the variable displacement compressor such that in case of small load and a minimum operation state of the compressor the suction side will be cut-off or in case of large load and simultaneous minimum operation state of the compressor will not be cut-off. The valve structure automatically decides and responds to parameter changes representing in case of the minimum operation state of the compressor a large load or a small load, in order to avoid freezing of the fins of the evaporator in case of small load and to improve the fuel efficiency of the engine driving the compressor in case of large load.
