    Abstract: A vehicle control device includes: an operation detection unit that detects an operation input of a user for an operation input unit; a speed setting unit that sets travel speed of a host vehicle on the basis of the operation input that is detected by the operation detection unit; and a lane change control unit that controls lane change. If the operation input that decreases, by more than or equal to a predetermined degree, setting travel speed that is the speed set by the speed setting unit, or the operation input that decreases the setting travel speed to be lower than current travel speed of the host vehicle, is performed after the lane change is started, the lane change control unit cancels the lane change.

    Abstract: In the present invention, automated driving control of a vehicle during automated driving is fundamentally performed by referring to a medium-term trajectory which is generated in a medium period having a relatively long computation period and in which emphasis is placed on the smoothness of driving behavior changes. As an exception, in cases in which reference-excluding conditions are matched, the medium-term trajectory is ignored, and automated driving control of the vehicle is performed using only a short-term trajectory generated in a short period having a shorter computation period than the medium period. Thus, a vehicle control device is provided which ensures adaptability without diminishing responsiveness.

    Abstract: A vehicle control device includes: a recognition unit configured to recognize a position of a neighboring vehicle traveling around a host vehicle; a target position setting unit configured to set a target position for lane change to a lane of a lane change destination to which the host vehicle changes a lane; a lane changeability determining unit configured to determine that it is possible to change lane when one or both of a first condition in which the neighboring vehicle is not present in a forbidden area which is set on a lateral side of the host vehicle and on the lane of the lane change destination and a second condition in which a collision margin time between the host vehicle and the neighboring vehicle present before or after the target position is larger than a threshold are satisfied; and a control unit configured to cause the host vehicle to change lane to the lane of the lane change destination when the lane changeability determining unit determines that it is possible to change the lane.
