A pigment dispersion including: 2 to 35% by mass of a pigment (a); 10 to 30 parts by mass of a polymer (b) with respect to 100 parts by mass of the pigment (a), the polymer (b) containing 5 to 30% by mass of a repeating unit represented by the following Formula (1) and having a weight average molecular weight of 10000 to 200000; and 15 to 50 parts by mass of a graft copolymer (c) having a polyalkylene imine chain or a polyallylamine chain in a main chain thereof and a polyester chain in a side chain thereof with respect to 100 parts by mass of the pigment (a), in which a total of the contents of the polymer (b) and the graft copolymer (c) is in the range of 25 to 70 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the pigment (a).

The invention provides an ink composition including (A) a polymerization initiator and (B) a (meth)acrylic acid ester having an alicyclic group as a substituent or amide having an alicyclic group as a substituent. The ink composition preferably further contains (D) a colorant and (E) a sensitizing dye. The ink composition is used for ink jet recording.

The invention provides an ink composition having at least (A) a polymerization initiator, (B) an ester or amide of (meth)acrylic acid having a 1,3-dioxolane ring skeleton or a 1,3-dioxane ring skeleton or (B′) an ester or amide of (meth)acrylic acid having a 1,3-diketone structure, and (C) a colorant. The invention further provides an inkjet recording method and a method for producing a planographic printing plate, each of which includes at least (I) ejecting the ink composition onto a hydrophilic support and (II) curing the ink composition by irradiating the ejected ink composition with active radiation so as to form a hydrophobic image region on the hydrophilic support. The invention furthermore provides a planographic printing plate formed by the method for producing a planographic printing plate.

The present invention provides: a pigment composition that includes at least (A) a polyallylamine derivative including at least 1% to 50% by mol of a structural unit represented by Formula (1-a), 49% to 95% by mol of a structural unit represented by Formula (1-b) and 1% to 30% by mol of a structural unit represented by Formula (1-c), and (B) a pigment, and improves pigment dispersibility and dispersion stability; an ink composition, a printed article and an inkjet recording method, which use the pigment composition; and a polyallylamine derivative useful for these. In Formula (1-b), R1 represents —NHCOR3 or —NH3+OCOR3, in which R3 represents a residue obtained by removing a carboxy group from any one of polyester, polyamide or polyesteramide, which each have a free carboxylic acid. The present invention relates to an ink-jet ink composition, which comprises (A) a polybutadiene; (B) a radical polymerizable compound having a (meth)acryloyl group; (C) a radical polymerization initiator; and (D) a colorant. The ink composition is highly sensitive to activated radiant rays and can accordingly be cured in a high sensitivity when irradiated with the same, can maintain its flexibility even after the cure thereof and can accordingly be used suitably in the ink-jet recording method and a method for the preparation of a lithographic printing plate, to thus form printed matters and a lithographic printing plate having high printing durability.

Disclosed is a presensitized plate composed of a support having thereon an image recording layer which includes: an infrared absorber (A) that is a cyanine dye having at least one fused ring composed of a nitrogen-containing heterocycle in combination with an aromatic ring or a second heterocycle, and having on the aromatic ring or second heterocycle an electron-withdrawing group or a heavy atom-containing group, a radical generator (B), and a radical-polymerizable compound (C), and which is removable with printing ink and/or dampening water. The presensitized of the present invention can be imaged with an infrared light-emitting laser to directly record an image from digital data on a computer or the like and is then subjected to on-machine development without carrying out a development step, which is capable of providing a large number of good impressions with a practical amount of energy.
