    摘要: A portable electric router having a depth of cut adjustment mechanism including an adjustment ring which engages a screw thread on the motor housing and rotationally engages the router base. There is further provided an arrangement for preventing relative rotation between the motor housing and the base. The adjustment ring is formed as a split ring with projections adjacent opposite sides of the split, each with a frusto-conical camming surface. A circular clamp knob mounted for threaded rotation on a bolt passing through the projections radially with respect to the router motor housing bears against the camming surfaces so as to squeeze the ring in order to effect a clamping action as the knob is moved inwardly. In order to provide limit stops for preset depths of cut, a pair of stop rings are provided which are angularly rotatable on the router base. Each of the stop rings includes an interference projection and the adjustment ring has a tab fixedly mounted thereon which extends to a point between the interfering projections. The stop rings may be fixed to the router base to limit the range of angular rotation of the adjustment ring.

The system includes a hydronic heating system which will heat fluid passing through a closed loop radiant line which is closely positioned adjacent a portion of the delivery line extending between the fluid delivery system and the target destination. The system also includes a cooling system which will cool the fluid circulating through the radiant line to cool the delivery line and the fluid feed additive therein. The system of this invention prevents the fluid feed additive from freezing during the cold months and cools the same during warm months.

    摘要: A cordless system has cordless system components that include a cordless device, such as a cordless power tool, a battery pack and a charger. The battery pack is mated with either the cordless device to provide power to operate the cordless device or to the charger to charge the battery cells in the battery pack. In an aspect, the cordless system has an identification and communication system by which the battery pack identifies and communicates information about the battery pack to the cordless device or to the charger to which the battery pack is mated. In an, the battery pack of the cordless system is capable of multiple modes, such as controlling the cordless device and controlling the charger. In an aspect, the battery pack validates the cordless device or charger to which it is mated in an aspect of the invention, the cordless system uses any of a wired interface, radio frequency interface, an optical interface or a magnetic interface to communicate information between the battery pack and the cordless device or charger to which the battery pack is mated. In an aspect, female terminals are used in a terminal block of the battery pack to protect against foreign objects contacting the terminals. In aspect, the terminals in the terminal block of the battery pack are staggered or scattered to reduce the likelihood of a short circuit. In an aspect of the invention, the battery pack has a trap door that closes when the battery pack is not mated to a cordless device or charger to protect the terminal block of the battery pack. In an aspect of the invention, multi-spring, split contact terminals are used in the terminal block of at least one of the cordless system components. In an aspect of the invention, the battery cells are Lithium Ion battery cells.

    摘要: A live bacteria product including dormant viable bacteria suspended in a liquid carrier. The liquid carrier is sufficiently devoid of moisture so that substantially all of the bacteria will remain in a dormant state for several months or until applied to the target host. The liquid carrier has a moisture content of less than one percent and preferably has a moisture content of less than one-tenth of one percent. The carrier contains mineral oil and a suspension agent and may also include an adsorbent. The suspension agent may be polymers such as synthetic polymers. The product is stored and shipped in a plastic bag and is sprayed onto its target host or the like. The moisture and pH of the target host then activates the bacteria.

    摘要: An applicator machine for applying a liquid carrier having live bacteria suspended therein, which are in a dormant state, to a target host comprising a pump having inlet and discharge sides, with the inlet side of the pump being in fluid communication with the liquid carrier. A first fluid conduit extends from the discharge side of the pump to an air induction nozzle which is in communication with a source of air under pressure. A flow control is imposed in the first conduit for adjusting the amount of liquid carrier passing therethrough. The pump and the air supply for the air induction nozzle are operatively connected to a power supply. The pump, when activated, causes the liquid carrier to be pumped to the air induction nozzle wherein the liquid carrier is mixed with air to create small droplets thereof for spraying onto the target host. A remote management system for the machine(s) is also provided.
