Abstract:
An electronic gaming system has a plurality of tables each having a plurality of electronic player interaction areas (EPIA's) spaced preferably about a table periphery so that a gaming player locates oneself in front of a respective EPIA to play a game. A computer-based controller of the system assigns any one of preferably a variety of games to any one table. The player is then free to choose what game he/she desires to play by picking a particular table. The gaming system has a host console that communicates with each EPIA via the controller for managerial control of the plurality of tables. A software-based hospitality feature is integrated into the electronic gaming system for logging players in and out of a game, monitoring and recording of game play, enabling efficient waiter service, assisting security personal and preferably establishing confidential communications with the floor manager or host.
Abstract:
A system and method for providing an electronic poker game includes a table having a table top with a central display area and a plurality of electronic player interaction areas (EPIAs) located around the table top. Each EPIA is designed to provide a player interface for interaction with one of the players. A dealer button and a button indicating a turn of the player in a next round are defined in each EPIA. A game computer is coupled to the plurality of EPIAs for administering the electronic poker game and for indicating a rake amount on the EPIA and the central display area, determining a winner from among the players; awarding a pot to the winner, and the like.
Abstract:
An electronic poker table and method provide an electronic poker game to a plurality of players. A hand of the electronic poker game is administered using electronic cards. The hand of the electronic poker game includes at least one community card displayed face-up on a central display and at least one hole card for each player displayed on a respective electronic player interaction area. The at least one common card being displayed in a larger size than the at least one hole card.
Abstract:
A system and method provides an electronic poker game to a plurality of players using an electronic poker table. The electronic poker table has a table top with a playing surface and a plurality of electronic player interaction areas located around a periphery of the table top. Each electronic player interaction area provides a player interface for interaction with one of the players. The electronic poker table includes at least one device coupled to the electronic poker table for reading tickets having an associated value. A game computer administers the electronic poker game by using electronic cards and electronic chips, associates the value of a first ticket read by the at least one device with one of the players and allows the one player to purchase electronic chips with at least a portion of the value of the first ticket.
Abstract:
An electronic poker table provides an electronic poker game to a plurality of players. The electronic poker table includes a table top, a display device, and a game computer. The display device forms a plurality of a plurality of player interaction areas located around a periphery of the table top. Each player interaction area provides a player interface for interaction with one of the players. The game computer is coupled to the display device for dealing a hand of the electronic poker game composed of electronic cards, displaying the electronic cards on the electronic player interface areas and administering the electronic poker game using electronic chips and the electronic cards.
Abstract:
A system and method for providing an electronic card game of the present invention includes a table having a table top with a playing surface and a plurality of electronic player interaction areas (EPIAs) located around the playing surface. Each electronic player interaction area is designed to provide a player interface for interaction with one of the players. A wager options buttons, such as “Raise”, “Fold”, and “Check” buttons are defined in each EPIA to allow the players to make pre-selected wagering action in advance as the electronic card game proceeds. A game computer is coupled to the plurality of EPIAs for administering the electronic card game and for determining when the player is allowed to activate on of the wager options buttons.
Abstract:
A system and method provides an electronic poker game to a plurality of players on an electronic poker table. A game computer administers the electronic poker game by dealing one or more hands using electronic cards and electronic chips. Each hand includes one or more betting rounds. The game computer allows the players to make wagers into a pot with the electronic chips during the one or more betting rounds. The game computer dynamically determines a rake amount of a pot and retains the rake amount from the pot.
Abstract:
An electronic card table and method provides a timed electronic card game to a plurality of players. A hand of the electronic card game has at least one betting round. Each remaining player has at least one turn in each betting round. Each turn has an associated response time. If the player does not respond within the associated response time, then a default action is automatically taken.
Abstract:
In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, a load cup mechanism is provided for loading and unloading apparatus such as a CMP apparatus. The load cup mechanism, configured to load a work piece into and to unload a work piece from the apparatus, comprises a load cup arm configured to pivot about an axis between a load position aligned with the apparatus and an off-load position. A work piece platform is coupled to an end of the load cup arm and a plurality of lift fingers and a plurality of guide fingers, configured to support and center a work piece, are spaced about the work piece platform. A plurality of guide posts are spaced apart about the periphery of the work piece platform and are configured to align the work piece platform, in the load position, to the processing apparatus.
Abstract:
Example systems and methods of providing a connection with a backend processing system are presented. In one example, a request for a connection between the backend processing system and a user of an application is received. One of a plurality of connections with the backend processing system is selected. Each of the plurality of connections is bound with a corresponding generic user session in the backend processing system. In response to the request, the selected connection is unbound from a generic user session and bound with a user session corresponding to the user of the application. Access to the selected connection is provided to the user of the application.
