摘要： A vacuum cleaner assembly having a two piece upright handle assembly. The handle assembly includes a recess formed at a lower end of an upper handle component and a neck portion formed at an upper end of a lower handle component. The neck portion can be engaged within the recess such that the two handle components form a rigid assembly. A pair of fastening components are securable within threaded bores formed at the area of intersection of the two handle components to form a rigid, unitary handle assembly. The two piece handle assembly can be assembled by a user without the need for any hand tools and without complicated mechanical assembly procedures. The fastening components also function to support a portion of a power cord when the power cord is wrapped therearound.

The chuck has a chuck body, a plurality of jaws, and an outer sleeve. A rear end of the chuck body is rotatably mounted on the output spindle. The chuck body has a plurality of jaw apertures and a plurality of light holes. The jaw apertures and the light holes extend through a front surface of the chuck body. Each of the jaws is received in a corresponding one of the jaw apertures. The outer sleeve is disposed about the jaws and the chuck body. Light emanating from the light array is transmitted through the light holes to illuminate a zone in front of the chuck body.

摘要： A light line generating assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a light generating unit and a base. The light generating unit produces intersecting light planes to form light lines on a surface. The light generating unit may further include level indicators for manual leveling of the light generating unit. The base is operable to repositionably receive the light generating unit such that the unit may be rotated with respect to the base. The base includes an attachment mechanism operable to connect the base to a supporting surface such as a wall or floor. The attachment mechanism is adjustable, and can be reoriented to permit the selective use of particular coupling devices/methods. Additionally, the light line generating assembly may include an adjustable measuring device (e.g., a protractor) moveably attached to the base.

摘要： Apparatuses are provided for various tools that incorporate materials with a high coefficient of friction and a low coefficient of friction. The materials with a low coefficient of friction may be mounted on a tool and have a perpendicular movement to the tool. This perpendicular movement may be implemented with a spring mechanism. The materials with a high coefficient of friction may be mounted on the tool in a fixed position. The tool may be pressed against a surface, first engaging the materials with a low coefficient of friction. The tool may freely move across the surface while the materials with a low coefficient of friction maintain contact with the surface. As the tool is continually pressed to the surface, the materials with a high coefficient of friction subsequently make contact with the surface, thereby causing the lateral movement of the tool with respect to the surface to be restricted and stabilized. An example of the tool may be a spirit or carpenter level.

摘要： A vacuum cleaner system incorporating a closed loop airflow recirculation path for cooling a beater brush motor. A portion of clean, exhaust airflow created by a fan is diverted away from an exhaust port of the housing and directed into a flow path running alongside a portion of the housing. The airflow is used to pressurize a compartment within which a beater brush motor is disposed. A low pressure area created by the fan is used to assist in drawing the cooling exhaust airflow through the compartment, to thus form a closed loop cooling air recirculation system using only clean, filtered exhaust airflow to maintain the beater brush motor cool during use.

A clamp assembly can include a first clamp member that moves relative to the accessory between a closed position wherein the clamp assembly retains the accessory and an open position wherein the first clamp member of the clamp assembly is offset from the accessory permitting removal of the accessory from the clamp assembly. A lever can have a user engagement portion and a pivot portion including a pivot axle. The lever can be pivotally coupled to the tool body about the pivot axle between a first position, wherein the clamp assembly is in the closed position and a second position wherein movement of the user engagement portion of the lever causes the clamp assembly to be moved to the open position.

The device includes a housing containing a self-leveling pendulum assembly and a light source that directs a light beam along a pathway.
