摘要: Security equipment protects the relaying of account numbers and personal identification numbers (PIN) by telephonic or other communication link. The equipment includes a host computer an a remote portable transaction device that interact. A credit granting institution generates an account number and a series of unique personal identification numbers for each account number. This information is stored in the host computer's memory and is assigned as a reference series to an individual customer account number. An identical series of numbers in the same sequence is stored in the memory of the remote device. In operation, the customer account on the host computer is activated and the host computer's memory is indexed sequentially to the first number in the reference series. During the use of the remote device, a unique personal identification number is added to the customer account number and transmitted to the host computer. There it is compared to the account number and personal identification number in the reference series. The computer will authorize the transaction if the number in the stored series is identical the number in the reference series. Otherwise the transaction will be denied or questioned.

摘要: A finishing tool providing a smooth finish to taped coved joints or to corner joints having an angle greater than 90.degree. defined by converging wall board surfaces is presented. The finishing tool includes a working plate and a supporting plate, each being provided with a substantially straight edge disposed transversely to the longitudinal axes of the tool. Each of the working and supporting plates is formed of resilient material to provide longitudinal and latitudinal flexural movement so as to allow the entire length of the straight edge of the working plate to engage seam sealing material applied to the corner joint and the adjacent wall board surfaces to provide a smooth continuous finish to the corner joint.

摘要: A method of producing a buttonhole is disclosed in which individual legs thereof are composed of stitches alternately extending parallel to the length of the buttonhole and substantially transversely of said length. The stitches extending parallel to said length are formed at twice the stitch length and in the opposite direction of work feed from the transversely extending stitches.

摘要: A set of tools for prying and removing virtually all vehicle trim and upholstery items includes a sharp curve trim removal tool having an elongate cylindrical rod with a scalloped, scoop-shaped distal end and a pocket clip, a defined fulcrum trim and upholstery removal tool having a flat bar having a rectilinear handle segment extending from the tool proximal end to a middle segment, and a curved tool distal end defining a rounded corner functioning as an acute upturned fulcrum curve along a tool lower surface, giving the user added mechanical advantage. The bar tapers to a sharp edge at the distal end. The set further includes a clip removal tool which is the same as the trim and upholstery removal tool except that it additionally includes a central notch in the sharp edge at the distal end for clip engagement.

摘要: A rotary trimmer for trimming flash and the blow dome from a plastic bottle forming a portion of a plastic blow molded log discharged from a blow mold includes flash punching, a neck support plate, and a guillotine blade. The neck support plate is movable by a plate drive to move adjacent the neck of the plastic log to support the neck during cutting of the blow dome and cooperates with a log holder to essentially support the entire outer periphery of the neck. The guillotine blade is movable by a blade drive to pass through the plastic log and sever the blow dome from the neck of the log.

Combined, aircraft, airplane, aeroplane, flying, air, aerial, airborne vehicle with variable, folding wings which is convertible via automatic transformation to a land vehicle and to a sea vessel. Two wings are stored between the fuselages. They extend on a system of rails, pivots and counter-rotating, fuselage-mounted arms which then sink flush into the wings' undersides and lock for flight. Upon wing extension and retraction, controls for road transport and flight controls alternately emerge or are stowed inoperably, as needed. Engine power alternately drives a propeller for flight, wheels for road travel and a separate, submersible, marine propeller for water transport.

摘要: A method of performing a frequency correction of a radio module. Multiple samples of frequency data during a quiescent portion of the base station transmission is taken to estimate the amount of frequency correction needed. An embodiment applies the frequency data to a median filter to eliminate invalid data. Next, a new reference frequency is applied to a radio transceiver in the radio module to provide the frequency correction. If the frequency was corrected by greater than a pre-determined amount, the process performs a large shift frequency correction, including verifying that the first frequency correction was satisfactory and verifying that the radio transceiver is able to receive data after the frequency correction has been performed. If the frequency was corrected by smaller than a pre-determined amount, the process performs a small shift frequency correction, including updating a total of all frequency corrections made since a stored reference frequency was updated.

摘要: An apparatus for cleaning a differential pressure line in a pressure monitoring system is described. The cleaning apparatus has a first fluid pressure inlet, a second fluid pressure inlet, a flow control, and a means for controlling the flow control. The flow control has a first port in fluid communication with the fluid pressure inlet and a second port in selectable fluid communication with the second fluid pressure inlet and a third port in selectable fluid communication with the first pressure inlet. The means for controlling the flow control allows the flow control to selectively receive a reverse-flow fluid pressure via the second fluid pressure inlet and selectively distribute the reverse-flow fluid pressure to the fluid pressure inlet via the first port.

摘要: A system for identification and assessment of performance optimizations implemented in the graphics environment, the identification and assessment of the performance optimizations based upon an optimized graphics call sequence generated by an application of one or more optimizations applied to a captured graphics call sequence occurring between said first and second drivers. The resulting optimized graphics call sequence causes the same graphics rendering to occur when provided to the graphics system as the original graphics call sequence. As such, the graphics application and associated graphics interface driver may then be analyzed by the application developer to identify specific modifications which, when implemented, would generate such an optimized graphics call sequence. This may include implementing specific modifications to the graphics application as well as implementing portions or all of the present invention into the driver for real-time execution.
