摘要: An automatic tool changer in which the load produced when a turret is rotation-driven is reduced, and abrasion in the balls and the like of a speed reducer, and mal-distribution of an axial pressing force are prevented. The speed reducer that drives the turret in the automatic tool changer is constructed by superposing a driving plate, a holder, and a driven plate in the order named. In the driven plate fitted with tools, there is formed a ball groove in a concave-convex shape having the number of cycles corresponding to the number of the tools. In the driving plate, there is provided a ball groove obtained by enlarging the ball groove of the driven plate in the angular direction and copying two cycles. The holder is provided with a plurality of guide holes in the radial direction, which hold their respective balls. The driving plate is rotated by spindle rotation, and the driven plate is driven at a reduced speed of (the number of tools/2) through the balls. It is possible to reduce the load by setting the ball groove of the driven plate at the optimum pressure angle. The balls are dispersed, so that the axial pressure is even, to thereby reduce the abrasion of the balls and ball grooves, and the like.

摘要: A tool changing device and a tool cleaning method capable of surely removing foreign matter such as swarf adhered to tapered portions and/or flange portions of tools, which serve as contact faces to be in contact with a spindle. There is arranged tool cleaning nozzles for spouting coolant on both sides of the spindle in the rotating position of a turret. The tool cleaning nozzle has a position and a posture such that the coolant spouted from the nozzle hits against the tapered portions and/or the flange portions of the tools held by the turret. The coolant is spouted from the tool cleaning nozzle with the rotation of the turret at the time of tool selection. Each time the turret rotates, the tapered portions and/or the flange portions of the tools held by the turret are cleaned by the coolant. Even if foreign matter, such as swarf, is adhered to the standby tools held by the turret, it is possible to surely remove the foreign matter, such as swarf, since the tools are cleaned during the rotation of the turret.

摘要: An automatic tool changing device capable of cleaning a contact surface of a spindle, which is to be in contact with a tool holder, with a simple structure. The device includes a turret having a plurality of grippers on its outer circumference and holding the tool holder by means of the grippers. At the time of tool change, the grippers grip and pull out the tool holder fixed to the spindle. Rotation of the spindle causes the turret to rotate through a spindle gear, a turret gear, and a decelerating device, to thereby select a tool. At this moment, a coolant is spouted from a nozzle portion of a manifold toward a spindle taper hole in which the tool holder is interfitted and washes the taper hole. Due to the rotation of the spindle, the coolant is spouted onto the whole circumference of the taper hole, and the surface to be in contact with the tool holder is surely washed. Therefore, it is possible to perform the cleaning with a simple structure in which the nozzle portion is arranged near the spindle without machining the spindle and the tool holder.

摘要: A telescopic cover which relieves impact caused when a cover member is stopped moving and which is less meandering. A braking mechanism is provided between one of two adjacent cover members of the telescopic cover and the other of the two adjacent cover members which telescopically moves into and out of the one cover member. The braking mechanism is provided at a distal end portion of the one cover member, and has an elastic member that presses a slide member against the other cover member. When the other cover member moves relatively to the one cover member, a friction force generated by a pressing force of the slide member serves to brake the movement of the other cover member, whereby impact caused when the other cover member stops moving is relieved. The cover member in motion is always pressed by the slide member with an orientation thereof maintained.

摘要: In a drilling control apparatus for properly controlling a load sitting on a drill, a cutting reaction force estimate unit (1) estimates a disturbance load torque Yz acting on a servomotor (feed axis) (63) based on a speed signal X1z to the servomotor (63) and a torque value U1z commanded to the servomotor (63). In drilling operations, the cutting reaction force Yz is equivalent to a cutting reaction force generated between a drill (75) and a workpiece (91). Note, rotation of the drill (75) is controlled by a spindle motor (73) and a position in a Z-axis direction of the drill (75) and a feed speed of the drill (75) are controlled by the servomotor (63) through a spindle head (74). A cutting reaction force monitor unit (2) monitors whether a cutting reaction force estimated by the cutting reaction force estimate unit (1) follows a predetermined pattern, and if not, then a feed axis torque control unit (3) controls a torque of the servomotor (63) to cause the cutting reaction force to follow the predetermined pattern. The cutting reaction force generated between the drill (75) and the workpiece (91) is changed according to the predetermined pattern by a torque control of the feed axis.

The pair of telescopic cover assemblies comprises a pair of first cover members attached to the first and second ends of the fist member to move with the first member, a pair of second cover members provided for the respective first cover members. The second cover members are slidable relative to the respective first cover members along the axis to retract into and come out of the respective first cover members. The second cover members are connected by a pair of connecting rods extending parallel to the axis.

摘要: A gas-liquid separating apparatus for separating gas and liquid of a gas-liquid mixture includes a drum, and a separator disposed in the drum. The gas-liquid enters the separator into a cylinder of the separator in a tangential direction, and thus flows along the inner wall surface of the cylinder so that centrifugal separation of the gas and liquid is effected. The gas is discharged into a gas-phase section of the drum. At least part of the primary isolated liquid is decelerated by a perforated plate of the separator from which the liquid flows into a liquid-phase section of the drum. Because the primary isolated liquid flowing into the liquid-phase section of the drum has a slow outflow velocity, it tends to flow upwardly in the vicinity of the cylinder due to the buoyancy of gas still entrained in the liquid. Accordingly, the gravitational separation of the entrained gas and liquid is facilitated.

摘要: An automatic tool changer having a turret (3) provided with a plurality of tool holders (9). The turret (3) is indexed at a tool changing position to remove a tool (7) from a spindle unit (1) and to attach a selected tool (7) to the spindle unit (1). A crank (6) suspended for swing motion and holding the turret (3), and a crank operating lever (4) biased by a spring (17) so as to hold the crank (6) to a standby position and operated for swing motion by a cam (8) provided on a vertically movable spindlehead (22) are interlocked by a rod (10) combined with a load limiting spring (18). The crank operating lever (4) is stopped at a set position by a stopper (24), and the crank (6) is stopped at a set position by a stopper (23) when the crank (6) is advanced toward the tool changing position. The vibration of the support shaft supporting the crank (6) when moving the turret (3) between the tool changing position and the standby position is reduced, and the tool finger (91) of the tool holder (9) moves along an ideal path when removing the tool (7) from and attaching the same to the spindle unit (1).

摘要: A numerically controlled apparatus for working a work piece by a tool, includes a memory unit, a central controller, a calculating unit and a driver for driving the tool. The memory unit stores working programs, execution block numbers, working data and shunting data. The calculating unit calculates the working data and shunting data under the control of the working programs. When the working operation is interrupted, the tool is shunted to a shunting position while performing the working operations in the shunting direction opposite to the normal working direction. Thereafter, the tool is returned to the position where the working operation was interrupted, and thus, the working operations are continued.
