    摘要: A separator circuit for a steam generation system. The separator circuit comprises a steamer connection tube and a liquid bin tube that extends vertically between a steam outlet for providing steam to a cavity of a cooking appliance and a recirculation tube for routing condensation back into the provided steam generation system. A slide tube is sloped downwardly from the steamer connection tube to the liquid bin tube for gravitationally accelerating condensation from the steamer connection tube through the liquid bin tube and into the recirculation tube. A vortex section is located between the slide tube and the liquid bin tube and includes a choke wall. The choke wall extends from a first end decreasing a cross-sectional flow path of the vortex section to a second end in a direction of the liquid bin tube.

    摘要: A cyclone separator for phase separation of a fluid stream has a rotationally symmetrical housing with a hollow chamber. Feed lines feed the fluid stream into the housing substantially tangentially. At least one discharge line conducts the separated gaseous fraction. In order to ensure uniform and homogeneous flow distribution of the steam to be heated as it enters the heating phase, the hollow chamber, when viewed in the radial direction from the mid-axis, has an outflow chamber with a circular cross section and, in radial sequence, a heating chamber, an intermediate chamber, a dryer chamber and an inflow chamber. The inflow chamber is outwardly delimited by the housing. The heating chamber contains heating elements for heating the gaseous fraction. At least one fine separator and at least one associated condensate-collecting trough are arranged in the dryer chamber. The condensate-collecting trough is connected to a condensate discharge pipe in the intermediate chamber for conducting the condensate forming in the fine separator out of the hollow chamber.

    摘要: A separator separates water and steam. The separator has a steam-side outlet conduit, a water-side outlet conduit, and a separating chamber between a number of inlet conduits. A swirl breaker is upstream of the water-side outlet conduit. To achieve the lowest possible pressure loss with a simultaneously high medium throughput and an effective separating action, the length of the separating chamber is at least 5 times the internal diameter (DI) of the chamber. Furthermore, the ratio of the overall flow cross section of the inlet conduits to the square of the internal diameter of the separating chamber is between 0.2 and 0.3. Within a water/steam separating apparatus, the separator is connected to a water-collecting tank such that the top end of the latter is located beneath halfway along the length of the separator-calculated from the water-side, bottom end of the same.

    摘要: A steam separator including a tube which houses a blade arrangement consisting of a set of curved blades serving to rotate a mixture of steam and water in order to cause the water to form a film on the inside of the tube. The tube wall has a plurality of perforations through which the water can escape while the steam leaves through a special outlet tube. The individual blade of the blade arrangement has an axial extension at least twice as large as the largest width of the blade, as well as a curvature at least so pronounced that a trailing edge of an optional blade is angularly offset past an imaginary radial plane in the axial extension of a leading edge of an adjacent blade. The total area of the perforations amounts to 50-65% of the cross-sectional area of the separator tube.

    摘要: A liquid-vapor separator for two-phase fluids in general and specifically a steam-water separator in a steam drum of a steam generator includes axial or radial spinner blades to create a centrifugal motion which causes liquid to be forced outward against the outer wall and the vapor to be concentrated in the center. Conical extraction skimmers systematically extract and discharge the liquid outwardly and downwardly through the side walls such that it impinges on an optional discharge screen surrounding the skimmers. The vapor flows out the top through a central opening and enters a secondary separator packed with crimped wire mesh encased in a perforated enclosure. The conical extraction skimmers include an outwardly protruding rim portion which forms an enlarged annular chamber between the rim and the underlying conical extraction skimmer. This forms a converging-diverging flow path out between skimmer sections and an outwardly extending ring forms a tortuous path. Inwardly extending extraction lips of varying size on the top of each skimmer enhance the liquid extraction.

    摘要: Steam generator of the type comprising within a vertically axed type enclosure a plurality of U-tubes in which circulates a primary liquid and on the outer wall of which flows a secondary liquid, a cylindrical envelope surrounding the said tubes and defining with the inner wall of the enclosure an annular passage, whose lower part is connected to the inner space of the envelope, the latter being sealed in its upper part by a cover, which is itself surmounted by at least one device for separating the steam by centrifuging, a means for drying the steam in the upper part of the enclosure, said means incorporating at least one steam dryer surrounding the axis of the enclosure, each dryer being connected by its lower part to at least one discharge pipe for removing the water separated from the steam, wherein each discharge pipe is linked with a dynamic draining or bleeding device able to produce a pressure reduction or vacuum in order to suck in the water collected in the dryer. As a result, it is not necessary to maintain a clearance level or height in the discharge pipe.The steam generator is more particularly intended for use in pressurized water nuclear reactors.

    摘要: A centrifugal separator for the separation of the liquid and gaseous phases of a mixture thereof, which separator has an upwardly diverging vortex section with a relatively small diameter inlet to produce a high centrifugal acceleration and a relatively large diameter outlet to produce a low vertical throughput velocity thereat to minimize reentrainment of the separated liquid back into the gaseous phase. The vortex section is preferably hyperbolically shaped to maximize the overall efficiency of the separator. An annular discharge lip extends outwardly from and then downwardly relative to the vortex section outlet for the discharge of separated liquid from the vortex section.

    摘要: A power plant may include a steam generator and a steam turbine wherein the steam generator provides steam to the turbine for driving the turbine and exhausted steam from the turbine is condensed in the turbine condenser to be pumped back to the steam generator as feedwater. In order to maintain minimum feedwater pump flows and to provide an alternative flow path should the steam generator require less than the available feedwater flow, a recirculation loop is provided for returning a portion of the feedwater to the turbine condenser. According to the present invention, this return flow to the condenser may be used for deaeration of condensate and for the attemperation of bypass steam.
