摘要: There is provided a conductive tin oxide sol having a high transparency, and a process for producing the sol, a coating composition by use of the sol and a material coated with the coating composition. The conductive tin oxide sol containing phosphorus-doped conductive tin oxide colloidal particles (A), wherein a sol prepared so as to have the colloidal particles (A) in a concentration of 10 mass % in the sol has a transmittance of 30% or more at a wavelength of 600 nm in an optical path length of 10 mm. The particle diameter of the conductive tin oxide sol by observation with transmission electron microscope is 2 to 25 nm. The molar ratio of the doped phosphorus (P) to the tin oxide (SnO2) in the colloidal particles (A) is 0.005 to 0.2. The conductive tin oxide sol is produced by mixing a phosphorus compound in a tin oxide sol, and then subjecting to a hydrothermal treatment. The coating composition contains the conductive tin oxide sol and a binder. The material having a coating film formed from the coating composition is also provided.

摘要: When a document detector provided on a document tray is ON (S11: YES), a controller judges whether or not a document is of a standard size, on the basis of a document size table stored in a storing unit (S12). When the document is of a standard size (S12: YES), after a predetermined time has elapsed (S13: YES), the controller elevates/lowers the document tray on the basis of a detection output of a guide-in roller position detector and causes the document tray to wait in a state capable of supplying and conveying the topmost layer of documents immediately. An image forming apparatus thus constructed can make a judgment as to whether or not to execute supply and conveyance of documents, according to the mount state of the documents.

摘要: In accordance with the state of a document tray upon powering on a power source, the elevation operation of a document tray is controlled. In the case that the document tray is located not at the highest position, not at the lowest position, but at a middle position upon powering on the power source, the document tray is allowed to remain at the middle position as it is without performing the elevation of the document tray. In the case that the document tray is located at the highest position, the document tray is moved down. By reducing the wasteful operation (the initial operation) after powering on the power source, it is possible to reduce the operation time and the efficient sheet processing can be realized.

摘要: An object of the invention is to allow secure identification of an image forming apparatus from an image on a recording medium on which the black image has been formed, thereby preventing leakage of secret information on the black image securely. A driving roller, a tensioning roller and a supporting member are supported to a frame so as to be movable in upward and downward directions, and a portion spacing mechanism moving an elevating rod in upward and downward directions by rotation of a motor is provided. At a time of the black-image forming process, the driving roller, the tensioning roller and the supporting member are moved downward by the portion spacing mechanism, a transfer conveying belt and transferring devices are spaced from photosensitive drums included in image forming stations for forming magenta and cyan images, and only the image forming process regarding a black image and an image of identification information obtained at image forming stations are made effective.

摘要: A seated-state detection sensor is disposed in a seat portion of a seat cushion of a passenger seat. The seated-state detection sensor is divided into three parts, that is, a first seated-state detection sensor, a second seated-state detection sensor and a third seated-state detection sensor, which are arranged in this order from the rear side of the vehicle. The first seated-state detection sensor and the second seated-state detection sensor are designed to determine whether or not there is a passenger seated. The second seated-state detection sensor and the third seated-state detection sensor are designed to detect forward displacement of the passenger.

摘要: A sensor attaching portion of an upper rail and a sensor attaching portion of a cushion frame are provided with a sensor attaching plate having a sensor disposed thereon. The upper rail and the seat cushion frame are connected with a bracket at a position facing the sensor attaching plate. When the passenger sits on the seat, the seat cushion frame moves down and a bent portion of the bracket is pressed and deformed downwards. At this time, the center in the vertical direction of the sensor attaching plate is bent outward in the lateral direction of the seat. The sensor serves to detect the generated deformation.

摘要: Developing devices are provided adjacent to a light sensitive element. An intermediate transfer drum is provided adjacent to the light sensitive elements. After exposure of the light sensitive element, a first color or third color image is formed on the light sensitive element. On the other hand, after exposure of the light sensitive element, a second color or fourth color image can be formed on the light sensitive element. The first color image is transferred from the transfer unit to the intermediate transfer drum at the first transfer portion, and the second color image is transferred from the transfer unit at the second transfer portion so as to be superimposed on the first color image. Similarly, the third color image is transferred so as to be superimposed on the second image and the fourth color image is transferred so as to be superimposed on the third color image to the intermediate transfer drum. Accordingly, the first to fourth color images are superimposed. Thereby, downsizing of the device and cost reduction are achieved and image formation speed is facilitated.

摘要: An intermediate transfer drum has at least a drum main body having a volume resistivity of 10.sup.4 to 10.sup.8 .OMEGA.cm, and an insulating layer provided on an outer surface of the drum main body. A first transfer voltage applying roller is provided inside the intermediate transfer drum so as to be opposite to a photosensitive drum and so as to be in contact with an inner surface of the intermediate transfer drum. A transfer roller is provided inside the intermediate transfer drum so as to be opposite to a second transfer grounded roller and so as to be in contact with the inner surface of the intermediate transfer drum. By thus arranging an image forming apparatus wherein image formation is carried out with respect to recording paper through the intermediate transfer drum, an optimal first transfer voltage can be applied from the photosensitive drum to the intermediate transfer drum, while an optimal second transfer voltage can be applied from the intermediate transfer drum to the recording medium. As a result, the first transfer and the second transfer are individually and simultaneously carried out. Furthermore, since the intermediate transfer drum does not become large in size, it is avoidable that the image forming apparatus becomes bulkier, while the lowering of the copying speed can also be suppressed.
