摘要: For regenerating an exhaust gas particulate collecting filter, there is provided an exhaust gas particulate purifying process in which damage to the filter caused by a thermal action can be prevented and further electric power can be saved when an electric current supply to an electric heater attached to the filter is controlled. In the filter container (4), an electric heater (21) is provided on an end surface of the filter on an upstream side with respect to a regenerating gas flow, or provided at a position close to the end surface. Also, a temperature sensor (22) for measuring a temperature of the filter is provided inside the filter or at a position close to an end surface of the filter opposite to the aforementioned end surface. Further, there is provided a first controller (13) for determining an appropriate current amount to be supplied to the electric heater and also for determined an electric power reducing pattern used in the case of stoppage of power supply, in accordance With the filter preheating temperature immediately before the start of regeneration detected by the temperature sensor (22). A second controller ( 17) controls a current amount supplied to the electric heater (21) in accordance with a command given by the first controller (13).

摘要: A die-cutting blade can form smooth die-cut lines in case-forming blanks which are less likely to injure hands when touched. A strip-plate-shaped steel blade plate has a pair of chamfers formed on opposite side surfaces of the blade plate, respectively, so as to extend from one side edge of the blade plate at substantially equal inclination angles. The chamfers define a cutting edge along the one side edge. The cutting edge has a composite wave pattern formed from a small wave pattern bent to have a wave shape within the range of the thickness of the blade plate, and a large wave pattern formed by a large undulation in the small wavy edge toward opposite side surfaces of the blade plate over its entire length within the range of the thickness of the blade plate, in order to provide smooth die-cut lines.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a technology that a microcomputer is capable of detecting the states of a large number of switches with a small number of ports. In a microcomputer system according to the present invention, any one of (2N−1) kinds of the combination patterns with respect to the combination of N input ports (IP1 to IP4) of a microcomputer (1) is allocated to each of M push-down switches (SW12, SW13, SW14, SW23, SW24, and SW34) with the different combination from each push-down switch. Each push-down switch inverts the input levels of the input ports in the combination pattern allocated thereto when pushed down. The microcomputer (1) detects the state of each push-down switch on the basis of the input levels of the N input ports.

摘要: A pressure-sensitive display medium includes a pair of transparent substrates, sealing members and a display layer. The pair of transparent substrates are opposed to each other with a distance therebetween. The sealing members seal peripheral fringes of the pair of transparent substrates. The display layer in which a composition obtained by infiltrating a fluidic material in a porous member is filled in a closed space enclosed with the pair of transparent substrates and the sealing members. When partial pressure is applied from the outside to one face of the transparent substrates, the fluidic material in the display layer at a position to which the pressure is applied is expelled from the porous member. After the pressure is released, the fluidic material having been expelled returns and flows into the porous member.

摘要: A communication method controlling system includes a control apparatus and a writing apparatus. The writing apparatus includes a function that employs plural communication methods. When a user selects content by manipulating an operation terminal, a control apparatus detects the content ID, and transmits corresponding content data and communication method information to the writing apparatus. Based on the received content data, the writing apparatus writes the contents data and displays a content image on electronic paper, and changes a communication method according to the received communication method information and uses an LED lamp, for example, to notify the user which communication method has been selected. When the user performs an operation according to the available communication method, information is transmitted from the writing apparatus to a port using the communication method.

摘要: A spark plug for an internal combustion engine is provided which includes a hollow cylindrical metal shell with an open end portion to be exposed to a combustion chamber of the engine, a ground electrode joined to the metal shell, a center electrode disposed in the metal housing to define a spark gap between itself and the ground electrode. The spark plug also includes a stream shaper geometrically formed on an outer periphery of the open end portion of the metal shell to shape tumble vortexes of air-fuel mixture into vortex streams oriented toward a central portion of the combustion chamber. This ensures the stability of orientation of the tumble vortexes to control a flow of sparks, thereby enhancing the ignitability of the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber.
