Abstract: A control system for a vehicle is provided, which includes a driving force source configured to generate torque for driving drive wheels, a steering wheel, a steering angle sensor, and a controller. Based on the detected steering angle, the controller reduces the driving torque to add deceleration to the vehicle when the steering wheel is being turned in one direction, and increases the torque to add acceleration when the steering wheel is being turned back in the other direction. The controller controls the torque, when the steering wheel is being turned in the returning direction from a state where it is turned in the one direction, so as to add forward acceleration until the steering wheel returns to a neutral position, and when the steering wheel is then being turned in the other direction after passing through the neutral position, so as not to add the forward acceleration.

Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicle attitude control system for controlling the attitude of a vehicle in which a road wheel suspension is configured such that a roll axis of a vehicle body inclines downwardly in a forward direction. The vehicle attitude control system includes: a lateral acceleration sensor operable to detect a lateral acceleration; a brake actuator operable to apply a braking force; and a brake control device operable, based on a traveling state of the vehicle, to generate the braking force, wherein the brake control device is configured to execute vehicle attitude control of applying, to an inner rear road wheel, a larger braking force when the lateral acceleration of the vehicle is relatively large than when the lateral acceleration is relatively small, thereby suppressing uplift of an inner rear portion of the vehicle body.

Abstract: A vehicle system comprises an engine driving a vehicle, a front wheel and a rear wheel, a suspension device with an attachment portion to a vehicle body which is located at a higher level than a center axis of the rear wheel, an electromagnetic coupling to distribute a torque of the engine to the front wheel and the rear wheel, a steering wheel to be operated by a driver, a steering angle sensor to detect a steering angle corresponding to operation of the steering wheel, and a controller to control the engine and the electromagnetic coupling. The controller is configured to control the electromagnetic coupling such that the torque distributed to the rear wheel is increased in accordance with turning operation of the steering wheel which is detected by the steering angle sensor.

Abstract: When an incremental amount of a steering angle exceeds a reference incremental amount, an ECU 60 executes vehicle attitude control of reducing an output torque of an engine, and, in a given operating range, drives a spark plug 16 in a manner allowing an air-fuel mixture to be self-ignited at a given timing, thereby executing SPCCI combustion. When there is a request for an additional deceleration from the vehicle attitude control (#12: YES), and the SPCCI combustion is performed (#13: YES), the ECU 60 executes fuel amount reduction control of reducing the amount of fuel to be supplied into a cylinder 2 (#14), so as to attain torque reduction for the vehicle attitude control. On the other hand, when the SPCCI combustion is not performed (#13: NO), the ECU 60 executes ignition retardation control of retarding an ignition timing of the spark plug 16 (#15).

Abstract: A driving force distribution control device mounted on a four-wheel drive vehicle is provided. A coupling mechanism controller connects a drive shaft with an auxiliary driving wheel and sets a fastening force as a first fastening force, when an increase rate in an accelerator opening becomes more than a given value and a vehicle speed is below a given first speed, and changes the fastening force from the first fastening force to a second fastening force, when a slip of at least one of main driving wheels is detected after the fastening force is set to the first fastening force, and before a given time period has lapsed from the setting of the fastening force, or before the vehicle speed becomes faster than a given second speed. The second fastening force at least immediately after the change of the fastening force is a value larger than the first fastening force.
