摘要： An information signal reproducing apparatus for reproducing information signals on a record bearing medium having said information signals recorded thereon in many recording tracks formed on the record bearing medium with intervals of a predetermined pitch. The information signal reproducing apparatus is so arranged that in a first moving mode, the record bearing medium is moved at a first moving speed wherein a reproduction head therein traces the record bearing medium in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the recording tracks, and in a second moving mode, the record bearing medium is moved with a different moving action from that in the first moving mode, and as the record bearing medium is moved based on the first moving mode or the second moving mode for tracing, by the reproduction head, the recording tracks formed on the record bearing medium and reproducing the information signals recorded in the recording tracks, a tracking error between a correct tracing position to the recording tracks and an actual tracing position of the reproduction head, is detected by using the information signals reproduced by the reproduction head, for generating tracking error signals corresponding to an amount of the tracking error and integrating such tracking error signals by an integrating device, thus effecting a control of the moving action of the record bearing medium by using the integrated tracking error signals so that a satisfactory reproduction of the information signals can be made.

摘要： A data processing device for processing data including a first data sequence indicative of the amplitude of an information signal and a second data sequence each data of which indicates the error rate of each data of the first data sequence. When each data of the second data sequence continuously shows a high error rate of a consecutive number of data of the first data sequence more than a predetermined number, the device generates data of values which are 1/a.sup.k (wherein "k" represents an integer between 1 and "n"; "a" a real number larger than 1; and "n" an integer at least 2) of a data of the first data sequence which has a low error rate and is located before or after the consecutive high error rate data of the first data sequence. The device performs data processing for muting the information signal by using these data.

A blade cover casing entirely covers the blade. A slider having left and right linear portions is attached to a rear surface of the casing. The slide guide has circular-arc portions and flaps for sandwiching the linear portions of the slider. A gap is formed between the flaps and a side surface of the body frame. By sandwiching the linear portions of the slider between a flap and the body frame, and sandwiching the circular-arc portions between the left and right linear portions, the blade cover can slide in the up-down direction with respect to the slide guide and the body frame and can rotate about the circular-arc portions.

摘要： An information processing apparatus/method employs error detection or correction to encode information to be distributed in a description format used in a multimedia network in which the error detection or correction encodes at least a portion in the header in the information to be distributed with higher redundancy than the entity in the information to be distributed. The encoded information to be distributed in a broadcast signal is multiplexed and transmitted. Alternatively, the information processing apparatus/method may involve: transmitting a portion of the header in the information to be distributed at least a plurality of number of times while the entity in the information to be distributed is transmitted; and/or transmitting a plurality of kinds of information as an entity in the information to be distributed, and using different error detection or correction ability in correspondence with the kind of information. The information processing apparatus/method may also involve inputting information data, and a check code for correcting an error of the information data, detecting the error state of the information data, setting an allowable error state of the information data, and controlling processing for the input information data in accordance with results in the setting step and the detection step.

摘要： An apparatus for reproducing digital information from a recording medium having a plurality of parallel tracks and digital information recorded thereon as n-channel (n being an integer greater than or equal to 2) digital signals. The n-channel digital signals are reproduced by n-reproducing heads. The digital information contained in the reproduced signals is stored in a storage device. Discriminating data is obtained for determining which of the n-channel digital signals reproduced correspond to the reproducing heads. The timing of an access device, accessing the storage device for performing a predetermined processing of the digital signals stored in the storage device relative to the reproducing timing of the digital information reproduced by the n reproducing heads, is controlled in accordance with the discrimination data.
