摘要: A metal-resin composite molding is composed of a metal portion and a resin portion. The surface of the metal portion has silanol groups, and the synthetic resin contains an adhesive modifier having adhesive functional groups interacting with the silanol groups. The metal portion and resin portion are bonded together through the interaction between the silanol group and adhesive functional group. The method for manufacturing the metal-resin composite molding includes a step of applying silanol groups to the surface of the metal portion, a step of adding an adhesive modifier having adhesive functional groups interacting with the silanol groups to the synthetic resin thereby producing a molding material, and a step of arranging the metal portion as an insert in a mold for resin molding, melting and forming the molding material in the mold into a resin portion, and at the same time bonding the resin portion to the metal portion through the interaction between the silanol groups and adhesive functional groups.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide an excellent image reading apparatus that realizes miniaturization and reduces a total reading time at the time of reading a transparent original and, in addition, improves operability. In order to attain this object, since the image reading apparatus has a configuration in which a light source driving circuit section is disposed to overlap in the upward direction separating from an original mounting surface of a surface light emitting section, an area occupied by the light source driving circuit section and the surface light emitting section on a horizontal surface becomes small and miniaturization can be realized. In addition, since the light source driving circuit section and the surface light emitting section can be disposed in a position close to a hinge section altogether, the center of gravity of an FAU is moved to the hinge section side, and rotatability of the hinge section becomes easy and is improved. Since an image reading unit has its hinge section side as an HP, a time taken by the image reading unit for moving from the HP to below the surface light emitting section, where a transparent original is disposed at the time of starting to read the transparent original, can be reduced.

摘要: In a competition video game machine, the speed for moving a character is variable according to the operation timing. A controller's operation determining function determines the on/off operation of a left trigger button and a right trigger button. An operation control function controls the skater's operation according to the activation of the left trigger button or the right trigger button. The skater's operation is controlled to repeat the cycle, consisting of an acceleration warm-up operation period, an acceleration operating period, and a decelerating operation period, for the left foot and the right foot alternately. Each operation period lasts for a predetermined period and, when one operation period is finished, the operation is shifted to another operation period. If, however, either the left trigger button or the right trigger button is activated while the above cycle is in progress, the current cycle for the corresponding foot is fast-forwarded to immediately start the acceleration warm-up operation period of the subsequent cycle for the other foot.

摘要: A non-transitory computer-readable information storage medium acquires an indicated position that has been input using an input section, and sets a plurality of direction determination areas that respectively correspond to a plurality of directions based on a previous indicated position. The information storage medium determines an input direction based on a direction determination area among the plurality of direction determination areas to which the indicated position belongs. The information storage medium causes the plurality of direction determination areas that respectively correspond to the plurality of directions to follow a change in the indicated position.

摘要: An image input apparatus includes an image data generating unit, a data transfer unit and a control unit. The image data generating unit generates high resolution image data if the image input apparatus is in a high-resolution image mode, and generates low resolution image data if the image input apparatus is in a low resolution image mode. The data transfer unit tranfers the high resolution image data to an external device in an asynchronous or bulk transfer mode, and transfers the low resolution image data to the external device in an isochronous transfer mode. The control unit changes the low-resolution image mode to the high-resolution image mode, if an instruction for selecting the high-resolution image mode is received from the external device during the transfer of the low resolution image data.
