摘要: A method for execution by a processing system of a storage network includes: generating encoded data slices based on a dispersed error encoding of at least one data object; receiving an access policy associated with the at least one data object; determining a timestamp corresponding to a current time; and storing the encoded data slices, an indicator of the time stamp and an indicator of the access policy in a storage unit of the storage network.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for forecasting weather uses a trained machine learning model to determine the error in a weather forecast, e.g., for a selected ocean region. The machine learning model is configured to determine the predicted forecasting error given the weather forecast and a set of existing conditions. The weather forecast is adjusted using the predicted forecasting error to produce an augmented weather forecast. Training the machine learning model may include the utilization of hindcasting methods. Determination of existing conditions and other modeling may include the use of data from an array of metocean sensor nodes dispersed on a body of water.

摘要: Techniques related to executing instructions by a processor comprising receiving a first instruction for execution, determining a first latency value based on an expected amount of time needed for the first instruction to be executed, storing the first latency value in a writeback queue, beginning execution of the first instruction on the instruction execution pipeline, adjusting the latency value based on an amount of time passed since beginning execution of the first instruction, outputting a first result of the first instruction based on the latency value, receiving a second instruction, determining that the second instruction is a variable latency instruction, storing a ready value indicating that a second result of the second instruction is not ready in the writeback queue, beginning execution of the second instruction on the instruction execution pipeline, updating the ready value to indicate that the second result is ready, and outputting the second result.

摘要: Software instructions are executed on a processor within a computer system to configure a steaming engine with stream parameters to define a multidimensional array. The stream parameters define a size for each dimension of the multidimensional array and a specified width for two selected dimensions of the array. Data is fetched from a memory coupled to the streaming engine responsive to the stream parameters. A stream of vectors is formed for the multidimensional array responsive to the stream parameters from the data fetched from memory. When either selected dimension in the stream of vectors exceeds a respective specified width, the streaming engine inserts null elements into each portion of a respective vector for the selected dimension that exceeds the specified width in the stream of vectors. Stream vectors that are completely null are formed by the streaming engine without accessing the system memory for respective data.

The circuit further includes a storage circuit coupled to the rotator that includes a register file coupled to the outputs of the first set of multiplexors an alignment network. The alignment network includes a second set of multiplexors that each include a set of inputs coupled to the register file and an output.

摘要: A system for maintaining the operation of a cooling fan for a server if that function of a baseboard management controller (BMC) of the server should fail includes the BMC and a control module. The control module is electrically connected to the BMC and the fan, and the control module receives a first signal outputted by the BMC in a cycle and determines the state of the BMC depending on whether the first signal includes a change in level or fails to include a change in level. When an abnormal state of the BMC is determined, the control module outputs a preset pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the fan to maintain operation of the fan.

摘要: Various embodiments of the present invention relate to methods and systems for consolidating, distributing and integrating issuer information for a voting entity. More particularly, in one embodiment of the present invention a computer implemented voting method is provided, comprising: consolidating vote request information relating to a security owned by a beneficial owner and held by at least two custodians for the beneficial owner; generating at least a first computer file including the consolidated vote request information; electronically transmitting the first computer file to a computer system of a voting entity; integrating the first computer file into a database associated with the computer system of the voting entity; receiving, at the computer system of the voting entity, at least one beneficial owner vote instruction sent from the beneficial owner; and generating at least one voting entity vote instruction responsive to the consolidated vote request information, wherein the voting entity vote instruction is generated by the computer system of the voting entity based at least in part upon the integrated first computer file and the beneficial owner vote instruction from the beneficial owner.

摘要: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and software for computing systems are provided herein. In one example, a system includes a processor configured to communicate over a network interface and a processor peripheral communication interface. The system includes communication switch circuitry communicatively coupling the processor peripheral communication interface and a device peripheral communication interface of an endpoint device. The communication switch circuitry is configured to establish logical isolation among ports of the communication switch circuitry by instantiating visibility over the logical isolation among the processor and the endpoint device. The processor is configured to determine transactions received over the network interface are targeted for the endpoint device, and transfer at least data of the transactions over the communication switch circuitry for receipt by the endpoint device.
