摘要： In a coding system, when any of the prediction results of pixel value prediction sections 20 and 21 matches an object pixel, a coding section 50 codes an identifier of the pixel value prediction section whose prediction result matches the object pixel. When none of the results match the object pixel, the coding section 50 codes a prediction error of a prediction error calculation section 30. A decoding system decodes code to an identifier or prediction error and outputs pixel data from the corresponding pixel value prediction section based on the identifier or takes out pixel data from a prediction error addition section 31 based on the predication error.

摘要： The invention relates to a line introduction portion for an inter-line fishing rod. A line introducing hole is located within a range between a point distanced forward about 1/3 of the entire rod length L from the bottom end of the rod tube and another point distanced rearward about 1/3 of the entire rod length from the tip top. When a plurality of interline fishing rod is manufactured as series, the locations where the line introducing holes of the fishing rods of the soft type, the forward-bent type, the long type, and the small standard weight type are formed are respectively set closer to the butts of the fishing rods than those of the line introducing holes of the fishing rods of the hard bending type, the forward-bent type, the short type, and the large standard weight type. Series of inter-line fishing rods with easy handling and increased casting distance can be provided.

摘要： An access control apparatus for use with a disc drive having a head provided for movement with respect to tracks on a disc to produce a reproduced signal containing a data signal. The access control apparatus includes a drive device for moving the head in a direction radially of the disc to perform rapid access from one track to a desired track. A traverse detector is provided for producing traverse detection pulses in response to the data signal. The traverse detector includes a trigger signal generator responsive to the data signal for producing trigger pulses for respective cycles of the data signal having a magnitude greater than a predetermined value and a timer responsive to each of the trigger pulses for changing to a first state. The timer returns to a second state a predetermined time afer each the trigger pulse occurs. A counter counts the traverse detection pulses to accumulate a count corresponding to the number of tracks traversed by the head. The drive device is controlled in accordance with the count of the counter.

摘要： A disc reproducing apparatus of the type having information prerecorded in the form of pits or other discrete indicia on tracks on a rotating record wherein the track access time of the information playback transducer can be increased by simultaneously increasing the rotational speed of the record from the speed normally employed during playback of the recorded information and selectively filtering out the pit component at a lower time constant when the record is rotated at such higher speed.
