In addition, data of the image captured with the lens unit is sent to the camera body by serial drivers, each disposed on the lens unit and the camera body, through connection contacts that electrically connect the lens unit and the camera body. When the lens unit is detached from the camera body, on the other hand, the control signals are sent and received by the antennas and the wireless I/Fs, and the image data is sent by the wireless communication.

摘要： A setting for white balance used by a camera during image-capturing can be reflected in a printer, thereby preventing, during printing, execution of such correction as negates an atmosphere of a light source in a recorded image in which the atmosphere has been intentionally allowed to remain. A camera used for a system of the present invention is a digital camera having a white balance process function of allowing the atmosphere of a photographing light source to remain in an image. During image-capturing, WB adaptation rate information indicative of a level of white balance correction is recorded on a recording medium as additional information. A printer reads the WB adaptation rate information for the camera via the recording medium to control white balance in accordance with the setting for the WB adaptation rate. For example, if the WB adaptation rate is less than 100%, then an AWB process executed by the printer is turned off to print the recorded image without changing its tints.

摘要： A navigation apparatus determines an influence of a typhoon, and provides a selection of two routes towards a destination if the typhoon has a great influence exceeding an influence threshold. The two routes provided are, a stand-by route that waits the typhoon to pass by and a detour route that avoids the typhoon by making a detour without waiting. The two routes are respectively presented on a display screen, after calculation by a route calculation unit, with an expected arrival time to the destination, a travel distance to the destination, and a stand-by time (only for the stand-by route) with an assistance of a draw unit. The navigation apparatus thus provides a user with a re-calculated guidance route that does not unnecessarily increase the travel distance to the destination, without forcing the user to be involved in a driving under the influence of the typhoon.

摘要： A digital camera system is composed of a camera body and a lens unit removably attached to the camera body. The lens unit has a timing generator (TG) for controlling drive timing of each part of the lens unit. The camera body also has a TG for controlling drive timing of each part of the camera body. When a still image capture mode or a movie capture mode is selected by a mode selection dial, a camera controller switches to a first mode for operating the camera body side TG in synchronization with the lens side TG. When a playback mode is selected, the camera controller switches to a second mode for operating the camera body side TG without synchronizing with the lens side TG.
