摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses, and computer readable medium for small data transmission (SDT). The method comprises in accordance with a determination that a first condition related to Small Data Transmission (SDT) is met, determining a target identifier associated with an inactive state of the first device; and transmitting, to the second device, a first message for the SDT comprising the target identifier. By using an I-RNTI determined based on the SDT type, which may be the short I-RNTI or a new I-RNTI even shorter than the short I-RNTI, bits can be saved and used for UL data that can be transmitted while respecting a maximum SDT data threshold configured by the network device.

摘要: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for access management for reduced capability (RedCap) devices. A method may include acquiring system information from a cell. In some example embodiments, the system information may provide a control resource set zero configuration. The method may also include monitoring a physical downlink control channel based on the control resource set zero configuration. The method may further include receiving, from the physical downlink control channel, downlink control information that indicates a resource allocation for a system information block. In addition, the method may include determining, from the resource allocation whether the cell is barred.

摘要: There are provided apparatuses, methods and computer program products. In accordance with an embodiment, there is disclosed a method comprising defining at least one message length related criterium comprising at least a minimum data volume threshold; determining whether transmission of a message using a small data transmission procedure in an inactive state of the user equipment is allowed; and providing the user equipment indication of the usage of the at least one message length related criterium. There is also disclosed a method comprising obtaining at least one message length related criterium comprising at least a minimum data volume threshold; preparing at least one message to a message buffer of the user equipment to be transmitted by a small data transmission procedure in an inactive state of the user equipment; comparing a length of data in the message buffer with the at least one message length related criterium; n constructing a packet from the data in the message buffer for transmission; and transmitting the packet by the small data transmission procedure if the length fulfils the at least one message length related criterium.

摘要: Disclosed is a method comprising detecting a beam failure on at least one transmission reception point of a plurality of transmission reception points. One or more beam failure indication data is included into a first medium access control (MAC) control element (CE), wherein the one or more beam failure indication data indicates the beam failure detected on the at least one transmission reception point. The one or more beam failure indication data comprises at least a first bit that comprises a first value and a second value, wherein the first value of the first bit indicates a first transmission reception point at least on which the beam failure is detected. The first MAC CE comprising the one or more beam failure indication data is transmitted to an access point.

摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to the field of wireless communications, and particularly to a technique for performing the beam failure recovery (BFR) of transmission reception points (TRPs) in a multiple-TRP (mTRP) scenario. More specifically, the technique involves defining rules according to which a UE may determine that the TRPs have failed concurrently or the TRPs are considered to fail individually in the mTRP scenario. Such rules are defined based on current counter values of beam failure instance (BFI) counters used by the UE for each of the TRPs. In some embodiments, the rules may be additionally defined based on current timer statuses of timers supervising the BFI counters. By using the rules thus defined, it is possible for the UE to clearly determine when it is required to use the BFR mechanism individually for at least one of the TRPs or concurrently for all the TRPs in one or more cells.

摘要: Various example embodiments relate to methods, devices and systems that support flexible uplink resource request. A terminal device may comprise at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code may be configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the terminal device to perform actions including triggering a buffer status report (BSR) by uplink data arrival on a logical channel, and selectively triggering one or both of a scheduling request (SR) procedure and a random access (RA) procedure based on a predetermined condition for transmission of the triggered buffer status report.
