    摘要: A semiconductor integrated circuit device includes a logic circuit, a digital-to-analog converter generating a substrate bias for controlling a threshold voltage of an MIS transistor of the logic circuit, a voltage control circuit outputting a control signal in accordance with a delay signal, and a delay detector, including a circuit which monitors variations in operating speed of the delay detector. The delay detector receives the clock signal and outputs the delay signal. The voltage control circuit receives the delay signal and outputs the control signal according to a delay indicated by the delay signal. The digital-to-analog converter receives the control signal from the voltage control circuit and generates a voltage according to the control signal. The operating speed of each of the logic circuits and the delay detector is controlled by a voltage supplied from the digital-to-analog converter.

    摘要: A semiconductor integrated circuit device comprising a logical circuit including a MIS transistor formed on a semiconductor substrate, a control circuit for controlling a threshold voltage of the MIS transistor forming the logical circuit, an oscillation circuit including a MIS transistor formed on the semiconductor substrate, the oscillation circuit being constructed so that the frequency of an oscillation output thereof can be made variable, and a buffer circuit, in which the control circuit is supplied with a clock signal having a predetermined frequency and the oscillation output of the oscillation circuit so that the control circuit compares the frequency of the oscillation output and the frequency of the clock signal to output a first control signal, the oscillation circuit is controlled by the first control signal so that the frequency of the oscillation output corresponds to the frequency of the clock signal, the control of the frequency of the oscillation output being performed in such a manner that the first control signal controls a threshold voltage of the MIS transistor forming the oscillation circuit, and the buffer circuit is constructed so that it is inputted with the first control signal to output a second control signal corresponding to the first control signal, the second control signal controlling the threshold voltage of the MIS transistor forming the logical circuit.

    摘要: A fuel cell in which the sealed portions formed at the peripheral edges of gas flow passages of a gas separating plate are turned so that they have a U-shaped cross section in the direction of the lamination so as to provide for elasticity. A filling member is filled in the interior of the sealed portions. This gas separating plate is used to respectively form gas flow passages through which different gas fluids are caused to flow so that they are electrochemically reacted in a pair of electrode reacting portions disposed with an electrolyte layer being interposed therebetween. In consequence, the sealed portions provided at the peripheral edges of the gas flow passages deform in accordance with the creep caused in the electrode reacting portions. This enables a balanced, adequate bearing pressure to be kept applied to the electrode reacting portions and the sealed portions, thereby enabling the fuel cell to be operated in an excellent gas sealed state for a long time.

    摘要: A flywheel device in which a rotating body is rotatably supported within a casing, the rotating body comprising a rotor rotated at a high speed and a flywheel rotated integrally with the rotor to accumulate rotating energies capable of being converted into electric energies at a time of a power failure. A protective ring is provided beween the outer surface of the rotating body and the inner circumferential wall of the casing. Upon the occurrence of an abnormally high speed of the rotating body, the rotor of the rotating body engages the protective ring. The protective ring is free of fixed engagement with the casing so that when engaged by the rotor the weight of the protective ring is added to that of the rotating body to act as a braking force.

    摘要: In a sorting machine designed for use with a copying machine capable of handling paper of various sizes, a vertical array of sorting bins includes an uppermost sorting bin with an expandable surface area. This allows the sorting machine to handle extraordinarily large paper without increasing the footprint of the sorting machine. The uppermost position ensures that when expanded, the expandable sorting bin will stand over the copying machine, which does not normally need great overhead clearance. The expandable sorting bin may be expandable by virtue of a hinged, sliding or detachable extension plate, and may be expanded automatically when the copying machine detects and signals the use of larger paper. Multiple expandable sorting bins may be used for sorting the extra-large paper. In addition, the sorting machine may have one normal-sized sorting bin in alignment with a main receiving tray of the copying machine so as to allow the main tray to accommodate extra-large paper.

The system comprises a node (under measurement) for transmitting a positioning signal, a reference station for transmitting a reference signal, and a plurality of access points for receiving the positioning signal and reference signal, and a server connected to the plurality of access points through a network. Each of the plurality of access points measures a time difference between the reception of the positioning signal and the reception of the reference signal, and a frequency deviation from the reference station, using a clock signal and a signal for shifting the clock signal, and the server calculates the position of the node based on the measured time difference and frequency deviation.

    摘要: An exhaust gas diagnosis system and a vehicle control system for automotive vehicles to reduce the communication lines and the power lines connected to the antiweatherability-required exhaust gas sensor arranged on the exterior of the vehicle are disclosed. The exhaust gas diagnosis system is configured of an engine control unit (electronic control unit), radio terminal units having the sensor function to detect the exhaust gas, and a radio communication repeater to conduct communication and share a part of the process executed by the conventional engine control unit. The communication lines between the sensor and the electronic control unit and the power lines to the sensor required in the conventional systems are eliminated while at the same time reducing the load on the electronic control unit.
