摘要: Bandwidth part (BWP) inactivity and mode switching supporting various communication approaches (e.g., full duplex and/or half duplex operations) are described. A wireless device may be provided with multiple BWP configurations, such as may include a default half duplex BWP configuration and a default BWP configuration. Multiple timers, such as may include a BWP inactivity timer and a duplex mode timer, may be implemented for timer-based switching between BWP configurations, such as any combination of a default half duplex BWP configuration, an active half duplex BWP configuration, a default full duplex BWP configuration, and an active full duplex BWP configuration. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

摘要: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), one or more full-duplex symbols of a slot and one or more half-duplex symbols of the slot; determining, by the UE, to use a first type of interleaving for the one or more full-duplex symbols and a second type of interleaving for the one or more half-duplex symbols; frequency domain mapping, by the UE, virtual resources of the slot to physical resources of the slot based on the first type of interleaving and the second type of interleaving; and communicating, by the UE, based on the physical resources. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating one or more communication patterns from a base station. The one or more communication patterns may indicate to the UE to adjust one or more parameters for transmitting an uplink communication during a set of time resources, a set of beams, a set of ports, or any combination thereof. During the resources indicated in the one or more communication patterns, the base station may estimate a cross-link interference channel between the base station and a second base station. The one or more communication patterns may indicate a hopping pattern for each subband of a bandwidth part. The base station may configure the UE with a timing advance based on the message.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to radio access networks with a capability to dynamically reconfigure a number of transmission-reception points (TRPs) in a single-frequency network (SFN) based on channel measurements. In one example, a mobile device receives a configuration message including a plurality of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states, and potentially further including an indication identifying one or more of the TCI states as main TCI states. The message may further include an indication that it includes the plurality of TCI states. The UE receives a downlink traffic channel and demodulates the traffic channel based on only a subset of the TCI states (e.g., the main TCI state (s)). The UE further measures one or more channel parameters corresponding to each TCI state of the plurality of TCI states, and transmits a channel state information report based on the channel parameters. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station communicates with a UE via transmission reception points (TRPs). A UE receives, from a base station, control signaling identifying a set of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configurations. The UE receives, from the base station, control signaling activating a first DMRS configuration and a second DMRS configuration. The UE receives an indication for the UE to use a first transmission mode of a set of transmission modes to communicate with multiple TRPs of the base station. The UE selects at least one of the first DMRS configuration or the second DMRS configuration based on the indicated first transmission mode and a pre-defined logical association. The UE then receives DMRS signals from the TRPs of the base station, according to the selected at least one of the first DMRS configuration or the second DMRS configuration.

A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station using a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration in a component carrier (CC). The UE may transmit an indication of a capability of the UE to operate in a full duplex (e.g., frequency division duplex (FDD)) mode on a single carrier in an unpaired frequency spectrum based on a first BWP configuration. The UE may receive an indication of a second BWP configuration for one or more slots based on transmitting the indication of the capability of the UE, the second BWP configuration including a configuration associated with an uplink BWP and a downlink BWP. The UE and the base station may then communicate according to the second BWP configuration in the one or more slots of the set of slots based on receiving the indication of the second BWP configuration.

摘要: Generally, the described techniques provide for duplex mode configuration for control information (e.g., duplex mode configuration for communication of downlink control information). For example, duplex modes may be defined (e.g., as full duplex (FD) capable, FD only, half duplex (HD) only, etc.), and such duplex modes may be configured for control resource sets (CORESETs), search space (SS) sets, or both. In some examples, duplex modes configured for a CORESET/SS set may depend on the priority of information conveyed via the CORESET/SS set. For example, a CORESET/SS set for high priority or critical control information may be configured with a HD mode to avoid FD self-interference, while CORESET/SS set for other control information may be configured with a FD mode to improve spectrum efficiency. Techniques for resolving conflicting duplex mode configurations (e.g., when a HD mode is configured for a SS set within a CORESET configured with FD) are also described.

Generally, the described techniques provide for a base station transmitting a modulation and coding scheme index corresponding to a modulation and coding scheme table to a user equipment (UE). The modulation and coding scheme index may be applied to encoding or decoding a transport block. The modulation and coding scheme may be associated with at least two modulation orders or a differential indication according to a modulation and coding scheme table. To determine which of the modulation orders for processing the transport block, the UE and the base station may use a prior modulation order associated with a prior transmission of the transport block. The UE may process the transport block by encoding or decoding the transport block based at least in part on the determined modulation order.

In aspects, a base station transmits an indication to an UE of resources (e.g., time and/or frequency resources) available to the UE for EH. The resources may include resources over which uplink transmissions are transmitted from one or more UEs and/or resources over which downlink transmission are transmitted from the base station to the one or more UEs. The base station may include additional information in the indication to the UE. In aspects, the indication from the base station to the UE of the resources available for EH and/or the additional information may enable the EH UE to more efficiently harvest energy from the uplink transmissions from neighboring UEs and/or downlink transmissions from the base station.

A base station may identify that the base station is going to enter a communication state associated with a capability limitation where the base station does not support at least one communications application while operating in the communication state. The communication state may be a power saving mode. The base station may transmit a message to a user equipment (UE) indicating the capability limitation(s) associated with the communication state, and communicate with the UE according to the capability limitation(s). The base station may identify that the base station has scheduled communications with a UE in accordance with an SPS configuration or a configured grant. The base station may transmit a message to the UE indicating an update for the SPS configuration or the configured grant based on a capability limitation associated with the communication state.
