摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. The described techniques provide for configuration and transmission of reference signals over aggregated mini-slots by modifying (e.g., extending) transmission time intervals (TTIs) or sharing reference signals across multiple mini-slots. The reference signals may be shared between multiple aggregated mini-slots and a reference signal pattern may be determined based on data payload allocation, modulation coding scheme (MCS), rank, or other factors of the aggregated mini-slots. Data payloads may be scheduled jointly or separately for each mini-slot and may be allocated across a set of aggregated mini-slots.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may measure signal characteristics of a beam reference signal and determine, based on the measured signal characteristics, a beam repetition and diversity (R/D) mode to be used in communications between the UE and a base station. In some examples, UE feedback to the base station may include an indication of the determined beam R/D mode, as well as channel quality information associated with one or more beams to which the determined beam R/D mode is to be applied and/or operating parameters (e.g., a mixed beam repetition and diversity pattern) associated with the beam R/D mode.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications that support power control in full duplex communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may experience antenna isolation for communication of downlink and uplink data traffic. Based on the antenna isolation, the UE may realize an increased channel capacity for full-duplex communication. As part of the full-duplex communication, the UE may identify characteristics of a potential downlink signal on formatted slots of the channel. The UE may determine an uplink transmit power control configured to account for the characteristics. The determination may include a configured transmit power control for beamformed signaling at the UE, and may be based on signal reception quality for potential downlink transmissions. Based on the determination, the UE may either perform uplink transmission on a resource block allocation of the formatted slots or forgo uplink transmission.

In some aspects, a user equipment may determine that a signal characteristic of a unicast signal is better than a signal characteristic of a broadcast signal; and/or transmit, based at least in part on the determination, a request for an update to a master information block or a minimum system information block to be provided to the user equipment using the unicast signal. In some aspects, a base station may determine that a signal characteristic of a unicast signal associated with a user equipment (UE) is better than a signal characteristic of a broadcast signal broadcasted by the base station; and/or transmit, based on the determination, an update to a master information block (MIB) or a minimum system information block (MSIB) to the UE using the unicast signal. Numerous other aspects are provided.

摘要: Transmission configuration indication (TCI) states may be used to indicate beam switching for data beams and/or control beams. A total set of TCI states may be divided into subsets of TCI states. TCI states conveyed via downlink control information (DCI) may thus act as beam switching indications depending on which subset a conveyed TCI state resides. A base station may transmit an indication that such DCI based control beam switching is enabled. Based on whether TCI state (e.g., included in DCI) belongs to a first subset of TCI states or a second subset of TCI states, a wireless device (e.g., that receives the DCI) may trigger a beam switching operation. Beam switching operations may include data beam switching or both data beam switching and control beam switching. The UE may then receive a downlink control channel and a downlink data channel based on the triggered beam switching operation.

摘要: In an aspect, a scheduled entity obtains a first set of indications associated with a beam failure recovery procedure, starts at least one of a first timer or a second timer based on the obtained first set of indications, and detects a radio link failure when the first timer expires or when the second timer expires. In some aspects, the scheduled entity starts at least one of the first timer or the second timer when N out-of-sync indications are obtained over a network configured time window, the N out-of-sync indications including aperiodic out-of-sync indications from the first set of indications and out-of-sync indications associated with a radio link monitoring procedure. In some aspects, the scheduled entity starts at least the second timer when the first set of indications includes a single aperiodic out-of-sync indication.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be in communication with multiple base stations having a non-ideal backhaul link, where uplink and downlink transmission on a carrier may be sent on respective communication links. The transmissions may be synchronous or asynchronous, and the UE may identify a set of search candidates in overlapping TTIs associated with downlink transmissions from respective base stations. In some cases, a number or a timing of the set of search candidates may be based on the overlapping TTIs. The UE may also use different uplink transmit powers for transmissions on the different communication links. In some cases, a minimum reserved power may be used for each link where a remaining transmit power, for example, up to a maximum total transmit power, may be split between the links or applied to the uplink transmission that occurs temporally first.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for identifying a mismatch between a user's common search space (CSS) and user-specific search space (USS). A base station (BS) may receive an indication that a user equipment (UE) decoded at least one beamformed signal transmitted by the BS in a USS and did not decode at least one beamformed signal transmitted by the BS in a CSS. The BS may take one or more actions based, at least in part, on the indication. Similarly, a UE may decode at least one beamformed signal transmitted by a BS in a USS, transmit to the BS an indication that the UE decoded the at least one beamformed signal transmitted in the USS and did not decode at least one beamformed signal transmitted by the BS in a CSS, and take one or more actions based, at least in part, on the indication.

摘要: An apparatus capable of self-calibration in a low-interference environment is desired. In an aspect, the apparatus may be a user equipment (UE) or a neighboring base station. The device receives, from a base station, a self-calibration notification indicating one or more resources allocated for a self-calibration of the base station. The device performs, in response to the self-calibration notification, at least one of deactivating at least one component of the device based on the one or more allocated resources or adjusting utilization of the one or more allocated resources allocated for the self-calibration of the base station.
