摘要： An encrypted content transport stream is received by a viewer's device and recorded for subsequent playback. During recording, keys in headers of packets of the stream are stripped and placed in sequence in a table. Also, the table indicates changes in key indicating bits. When it is desired to play the content, start-of-frame indicator bits such as PUSI and/or RAI bits are used to access the table of keys to retrieve the keys necessary to decrypt the transport stream packets sought to be played.

摘要： A television device has a display panel having a video display situated therein, the display panel being housed in a substantially rectangular housing. A support electronics housing separate from the display panel, is sized to be no wider than a standard household wall stud spacing and no deeper than a standard household wall cavity depth. The support electronics housing carries electronics that support use of the display panel as a television. One or more electrical cables electrically interconnects the support electronics housing with the display panel. An electronic video interface resides in the support electronics housing and having an electrical connector to provide video signals thereto. A power source resides in the support electronics housing that receives household electrical power and supplies electrical power to the display panel through the one or more electrical cables. A mounting bracket assembly mounts the display panel to a wall such that the rear surface is approximately flush with the wall. The support electronics can be situated remotely from the display panel to permit flush mounting of the display panel to the wall, and may be inserted into a wall cavity between wall studs. 摘要： In certain implementations, a method of displaying a branched chain of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) video content involves providing a first stream of video content, the first stream of video content having a plurality of video features that appear during a plurality of associated time intervals in the first stream of video content; providing a collection of affiliate video streams related to the plurality of time intervals; providing a set of metadata that associates the time intervals with one of the plurality of affiliate video streams; playing the first stream of video content on an IPTV compatible player device to sequentially reveal the plurality of features of the first stream in their respective time relationships in the first stream via a display driven by the IPTV compatible player device; at the IPTV compatible player device, receiving a selection signal during the associated time interval that selects the video feature being displayed; upon receipt of the selection signal, the IPTV compatible player device accessing the metadata to identify a particular one of the collection of affiliate data streams that is associated with the time interval of the selected video feature; and the IPTV compatible player device ceasing to play the first stream of video content and beginning playing the associated one of the collection of affiliate data streams that is associated with the time interval of the selected feature; whereby, the viewer directly navigates from one stream of video content to an affiliate video.
