    Abstract: A display device includes a first base, a pixel electrode on the first base, a pixel defining layer having an opening that at least partially exposes the pixel electrode, a light emitting layer on the pixel electrode, an auxiliary electrode on the same layer as the pixel electrode, a partition wall on the auxiliary electrode that at least partially exposes a side surface of the auxiliary electrode, an organic layer on the partition wall, and a common electrode continuously arranged on the light emitting layer and the organic layer, wherein a side surface of the partition wall has a reverse-tapered shape, and the common electrode contacts the side surface of the auxiliary electrode.

    Abstract: A light emitting element includes a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer on the first semiconductor layer, and an element active layer between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer. The first semiconductor layer, the element active layer, and the second semiconductor layer are sequentially located along a first direction. A thickness of the first semiconductor layer in the first direction is greater than a thickness of the second semiconductor layer in the first direction. A cross section of the element active layer taken along the first direction includes a first side facing the first semiconductor layer, a second side facing the second semiconductor layer, a first lateral side connecting one end of the first side to one end of the second side, and a second lateral side connecting an other end of the first side to an other end of the second side.

    Abstract: A display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a substrate, and a display element layer provided on a first surface of the substrate and including a plurality of light emitting elements. The display element layer may include a first electrode and a second electrode configured to extend in a first direction and spaced apart from each other in a second direction different from the first direction, and a third electrode configured to extend in the first direction and face the second electrode with the first electrode interposed therebetween. The first electrode includes a first protrusion protruding toward the second electrode, the second electrode includes a second protrusion protruding toward the first electrode, and the first protrusion and the second protrusion are alternately arranged in the first direction. Each of the light emitting elements may be provided between the first protrusion and the second protrusion, and first ends of respective light emitting elements may be aligned toward one of the first electrode and the second electrode.
