    Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed therebetween. The first substrate includes: a first base substrate, a gate line disposed on the first base substrate, a first electrode disposed on the first base substrate, the first electrode configured to receive a driving voltage, a data line crossing the gate line, a bump disposed on and formed along the data line, and a second electrode including a shielding electrode portion disposed on the bump and a common electrode portion disposed in association with a center portion of the first electrode. The second substrate includes: a second base substrate facing the first base substrate, and color filters disposed on the second base substrate.
