Abstract: A method for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) and an apparatus therefor are provided. The method includes monitoring downlink control information (DCI) in a first format group, and activating SPS according to an indication in the DCI in the first format group, and monitoring DCI in a second format group, and releasing SPS according to an indication in the DCI in the second format group, wherein, the payload size of the DCI format in the second format group is less than the payload size of the DCI format in the first format group. The payload size of the scheduled DCI format after the SPS is activated is less than the payload size of the scheduled DCI format activated by the SPS, which significantly promotes efficiency of utilization of resource(s) and reduces power consumption of user equipment for monitoring and detecting DCI, schedule overhead of downlink channel of SPS, and service delay.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for transmitting uplink demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) is provided. The method includes a user equipment (UE) determines an uplink DMRS format for demodulating a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) according to frequency-domain resources occupied by the PUSCH, in which the uplink DMRS format includes a comb occupied by a PUSCH DMRS sequence. The comb is subcarriers having specified intervals occupied by demodulation reference signals, and the specified intervals between the occupied subcarriers are same. For the DMRSs using the comb format, subcarriers with specific intervals are used for channel estimation, and values of the channel estimation are used for data demodulation. The UE transmits uplink information and the demodulation reference signals on physical resources using the uplink DMRS format. The present disclosure can improve the multiplexing ratio of uplink physical resources in a multi-UE scenario.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus of receiving Downlink Control Information (DCI). The method may include: a User Equipment (UE) determines a number of detections corresponding to a DCI detection ability of the UE and a number of detections corresponding to a DCI format; the UE reduces the number of detections corresponding to the DCI format, wherein the reduced number of detections corresponding to the DCI format is smaller than or equal to the number of detections corresponding to the DCI detection ability; and the UE receives the DCI according to the reduced number of detections corresponding to the DCI format. According to the method and apparatus of the present disclosure, a complexity of a procedure of receiving the DCI can be reduced.

The embodiment of the present invention is used for RACH re-attempt when random access fails.-

Abstract: An apparatus and method for feeding back hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information are provided. The apparatus and method include user equipment (UE) that first receives a downlink grant (DL-GRANT) which schedules downlink HARQ transmission in a time-frequency bundling window corresponding to an uplink subframe used for feeding back HARQ-ACK, obtains a DL downlink assignment index (DL DAI) in the DL-GRANT, and determines a mapping value of each DL DAI. Then, according to the mapping value of the corresponding DL DAI, the HARQ-ACK bit of each HARQ feedback unit is mapped to a corresponding bit of a feedback bit sequence. According to the method and apparatus provided by the present disclosure, useless HARQ-ACK bits may be effectively removed, and efficiency for feeding back HARQ-ACK may be increased. As such, a downlink peak rate of a UE is ensured.
