    摘要： An ink jet head includes an orifice plate having a plurality of orifices disposed transversely at prescribed intervals, a vibrating plate disposed parallel to orifice plate and deformed by applying a potential difference perpendicularly to the direction of polarization, and a plurality of partitions disposed between orifice plate and vibrating plate in the space between adjacent orifices, and the space surrounded by orifice, vibrating plate and partition defines a pressure chamber to be filled with ink. Vibrating plate is provided with a groove having a rectangular cross section in a region having relatively low field intensity when signal voltage is applied. In this structure, the electric capacitance of vibrating plate is reduced without adversely affecting the electric field intensity, and the efficiency of deformation of vibrating plate is increased.

    摘要： A novel resin composition improved in moldability and impact resistance, comprising (A) a polyphenylene oxide having a molecular weight of 5,000 or higher, (B) an aromatic hydrocarbon-formaldehyde resin or a modified aromatic hydrocarbon-formaldehyde resin, and, if necessary, (C) a rubbery polymer, the weight ratio of the resin (A) to the resin (B) being from 10:90 to 99:1 and the amount of the rubbery polymer (C) being 3 to 40 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the resins (A) and (B). This resin composition has excellent mechanical and electrical properties of the polyphenylene oxide together with an improved moldability, impact resistance, and adhesiveness.

The fullness detection section (164) is disposed at a tip portion of the actuator (16), being configured so as to contact the uppermost paper on the paper output tray (80). The rear edge curling detection section (162) is formed so as to extend from the fullness detection section (164) toward a direction that gets further away from the paper loading surface of the paper output tray (80) toward a direction generally parallel to the paper loading surface of the paper output tray (80) and opposite to a paper conveying direction.

    摘要： In a fixing device, a heat roller and a fixing gear for rotating the heat roller are arranged concentrically, and coupled to each other by inserting a key formed in the fixing gear into a keyway formed in the heat roller. The keyway is designed such that the key is allowed to move along a direction in which the heat roller is rotated. For example, the keyway is formed by notching a free end of a one-side rotary shaft of the heat roller so as to extend along the direction in which the heat roller is rotated.

    摘要： As one embodiment, a paper feeding device is provided with a pickup roller for pulling out an uppermost positioned sheet of loaded sheets, and a paper feeding roller for transporting the sheet pulled out by the pickup roller. Spanning between the pickup roller and the paper feeding roller, a roller belt is provided that is capable of moving relatively in a circumferential direction with respect to an outer circumferential surface of the paper feeding roller. The roller belt obtains rotational drive from the pickup roller.
