摘要: The modular wrench with extendible shank includes at least one stubby wrench head segment having either an open end or a box end wrench head, and a truncated shank extending from the wrench head. A short connector sleeve having sockets defined in both ends that frictionally receive the truncated shank of the wrench head segment is provided so that two wrench heads may be attached to opposite ends of the sleeve to form an open end wrench, a box end wrench, or a combination wrench of standard size. Two elongated extension bars, e.g., a six-inch and a ten-inch bar, are provided, each extension bar having a stub projecting from one end that frictionally fits into the connector sleeve, and a socket defined in the opposite end that frictionally receives either the truncated shank of the wrench head or the stub of the other extension bar.

摘要: Digital pixel data is obtained from radiographic imaging of one or more objects, and corresponds to an imaged area containing a feature to be measured. A data profile for a region around the measured feature is created from the digital pixel data. A reference profile is then created from the data profile. The reference profile represents an expected data profile for a reference condition of the objects, and accounts for the point spread function of the imager. The difference between the data profile and the reference profile is calculated. Based on that difference, the degree by which the actual condition of the objects varies from the reference condition is determined. The calculated difference can be compared to a lookup table mapping previously calculated differences to degrees of variation from the reference condition. The calculated difference can also be used as an input to an experimentally derived formula.

摘要: The present invention provides for a computer system having a plurality of parallel processor units with each processor unit associated with at least one register for receiving data for the processor unit. The computer system has a bus unit, coupled to the output of each processor unit and the associated register of each processor unit, to transfer the output data of a first processor unit into an associated register of a second processor unit in a single computer operation. The second processor unit is prevented from reading the associated register until the bus unit transfers the output data from the first processor unit to the second processor unit.

摘要: A novel intravascular device for removing vascular occlusion material comprises an elongate tube intravascularly insertable into a patient including a vascular occlusion removal element and a vascular lumen interior surface scouring element. The removal element comprises inner and outer respectively rotatable cutters which may be helical tubular cutters or cutting windows. The cutting windows may include cutting edges defining a substantially rectangular, arcuate or V-shaped configuration. The scouring element may be a flexible wire or a dilating member engageable with an interior surface of a vascular lumen. The scouring element may include a web member for collecting and funneling scoured material. A novel method for removing vascular occlusion material from a vascular lumen having an interior surface is also provided. The method comprises the steps of: providing an intravascular device having vascular occlusion removal means and vascular lumen scouring means; inserting the device intravascularly into a patient; positioning the device adjacent vascular occlusion material within the vascular lumen; energizing the removal means for removing vascular occlusion material from the vascular lumen; and energizing the scouring means for scouring the interior surface of the vascular lumen.

摘要: An imager includes an array of pixels arranged in rows and a control circuit for sequentially capturing first and second image frames from the array of pixels. The control circuit is configured to sequentially capture first and second pairs of adjacent rows of pixels during first and second exposure times, respectively, when capturing the first image frame. The control circuit is also configured to sequentially capture first and second pairs of adjacent rows of pixels during second and first exposure times, respectively, when capturing the second image frame. The first exposure times during the first and second frames are of similar duration; and the second exposure times during the first and second frames are of similar duration. The control circuit is configured to detect motion of an object upon combining the first and second image frames and, then, correct for the motion of the object.
