    Abstract: Apparatus for medical treatment, consisting of a probe and a processor. The probe has an insertion tube having a distal end configured for insertion into a body cavity of a living subject, and a basket assembly having multiple resilient spines coupled to the distal end of the insertion tube and joined together in a predefined form when the basket assembly is unconstrained by external forces. The probe also has a force sensor configured to output an indication of a force exerted on the basket assembly within the body cavity. The processor is configured to receive the indication of the force, to compute a constrained form of the basket assembly, different from the predefined form, responsively to the force, and to render to a display a graphical image representing the constrained form of the basket assembly.

    Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for guiding a balloon therapy procedure by generating and outputting a visualization of the volumetric position of a balloon within an anatomical cavity are provided. For example, in one embodiment, a processor circuit is configured to control a plurality of electrodes to detect an electromagnetic field within the anatomical cavity, and determine, based on the detected electromagnetic field and a geometrical parameter associated with the balloon (e.g., size, shape of the balloon), a location of the balloon within the anatomical cavity. The processor circuit outputs a signal representation of a visualization of the balloon to guide placement of the therapeutic balloon. In some embodiments, the visualization is output to a display with a map of the anatomical cavity. The visualization may be updated based on detected movement of the balloon to provide a real time view of the location of the balloon within the anatomical cavity.

    Abstract: A system for obtaining signals related to electrical activity of the heart of a subject includes a sensing device including an elongate member having a distal end configured for placement within a body lumen of a subject, and a proximal end configured to extend from the subject, an actuation portion carried by the elongate member and configured for placement within the body lumen, the actuation portion having a low-profile state for delivery within the body lumen and an expanded state, and one or more sensors disposed on the actuation portion, each including a contact surface configured to contact an interior wall of the body lumen, wherein the actuation portion is configured to cause the contact surface of each of the one or more sensors to contact a location on the interior wall of the body lumen to provide a signal component for producing one or more electrocardiogram signals.
