摘要: An embodiment includes: a pixel unit including first and second imaging regions arranged with effective pixels and first and second reference regions arranged with optical black pixels; and a scanning unit that performs, on a row-by-row basis, reset operations of photoelectric converters and readout operations of pixel signals based on charges generated in the photoelectric converters which includes charge transfer to transfer charges generated in the photoelectric converters to holding portions. The scanning unit drives the pixels in the first imaging region and the first reference region in a first condition where a period from the end of reset operation to the end of charge transfer is a first length and drives the pixels in the second imaging region and the second reference region in a second condition where a period from the end of reset operation to the end of charge transfer is a second length.

摘要: A medical imaging apparatus includes: an imaging unit; a mode setting unit; and an imaging controller configured to drive the imaging unit in accordance with a driving mode set with the mode setting unit. The first driving mode sets exposure time of all pixels to an equal time, and outputs each of pixel signals as a pixel signal of one pixel. The second driving mode divides all the pixels into groups, setting at least one of all the pixels included in the group to have an exposure time different from an exposure time of the other pixels, and outputting, for each of the groups, an addition pixel signal as a pixel signal of one pixel. The third driving mode sets exposure time of all the pixels to an equal time, and outputs, for each of the groups, an addition pixel signal as a pixel signal of one pixel.

摘要: An imaging device includes pixels each including first and second photoelectric conversion units on which pupil-divided parts of incident light are incident and a holding unit that holds charges transferred from the first and second photoelectric conversion units, and outputting signals based on amounts of charges held by the holding unit. Each pixel outputs a first signal and a second signal based on amounts of charges generated by the first photoelectric conversion unit and by the first and second photoelectric conversion units, respectively, during a first exposure time, and a third signal and a fourth signal based on amounts of charges generated by the first photoelectric conversion unit and by the first and second photoelectric conversion units, respectively, during a second exposure time. The first and second signals are output before the third and fourth signals in one frame and after the third and fourth signals in another frame.

摘要: In time-delay-and-integrate (TDI) imaging, a charge-couple device (CCD) integrates and transfers charge across its columns. Unfortunately, the limited well depth of the CCD limits the dynamic range of the resulting image. Fortunately, TDI imaging can be implemented with a digital focal plane array (DFPA) that includes a detector, analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and counter in each pixel and transfer circuitry connected adjacent pixels. During each integration period in the TDI scan, each detector in the DFPA generates a photocurrent that the corresponding ADC turns into digital pulses, which the corresponding counter counts. Between integration periods, the DFPA transfers the counts from one column to the next, just like in a TDI CCD. The DFPA also non-destructively transfers some or all of the counts to a separate memory. A processor uses these counts to estimate photon flux and correct any rollovers caused by “saturation” of the counters.

The method is applied in a terminal device having a first camera assembly and a second camera assembly, and includes: controlling n adjacent pixel points corresponding to a same filter unit in the second image sensor to be under respective different amounts of exposure; obtaining a first image and a second image of an object respectively by the first image sensor and the second image sensor; performing an image splitting on the second image to obtain a third image having a same number of pixels as the first image; performing an image composition on the third image and the first image to obtain a high dynamic range image of the object.

摘要: An imaging device includes: unit pixel cells each including first and second electrodes, a photoelectric conversion layer therebetween, a charge accumulation region, and a signal detection circuit; and a voltage supply circuit, the voltage supply circuit supplying a first voltage to the second electrode in an exposure period. The start and end of the exposure period is common to the unit pixel cells. The photoelectric conversion layer has a photocurrent characteristic including first to third voltage ranges. In the third voltage range between the first and second voltage ranges, an absolute value of a rate of change of a current density relative to a bias voltage is less than in the first and second voltage ranges. The voltage supply circuit supplies a second voltage to the second electrode in a non-exposure period such that the bias voltage applied to the photoelectric conversion layer falls within the third voltage range.
