A centrifugal blower is rotatably mounted within the blower housing. An internal wall is disposed within the blower housing and partially surrounds the blower The airflow into the inlet is passed in thermal communication with the first electronic component. The airflow from the first outlet is passed in thermal communication with the second electronic device. The airflow from the second outlet is exhausted from the chassis.

摘要: A thermal interface pad is constructed from a plurality of thermal interface plate assemblies. Alternate thermal interface plate assemblies are rotated about 180 degrees from each other within the pad. Each plate assembly includes one or more spring members configured such that the completed thermal interface pad includes a plurality of spring members on at least two sides of the pad. The thermal interface plate assemblies are configured to allow the thermal interface pad to vary greatly in thickness. The pad is sufficiently adjustable in thickness to accommodate gross tolerance differences between multiple heat generating and sinking devices. Rods inserted in openings in the plates may be used to align the plate assemblies and to apply compressive force to the plates, improving the thermal conductivity between adjacent plates and greatly decreasing the overall thermal resistance of the thermal interface pad.

摘要: The system and method provides an NDT inspector with a realistic simulation of inspecting a test piece while injecting virtual flaws for display on an NDT instrument, while also presenting actual flaws to the inspector. A conventional NDT test probe and instrument are connected to the system at the probe leads interface. The system provides means for monitoring probe position and probe liftoff, means for storing virtual flaw signals and associated locations on a test piece, and means for providing a virtual flaw signal to the NDT instrumentation to simulate the response of the actual probe. The invention provides for nondestructive test method qualification and probability of detection determination, for establishing and maintaining nondestructive testing proficiency of inspectors, for periodically presenting flaw signals to inspectors during routine inspections, and for ensuring sufficient scan coverage for detection of material defects in a test piece.

摘要: Architecture that translates a complex dimensional hierarchy (e.g., XBRL) into an understandable member picker which removes the complexities that the user would otherwise have to face. Using a building block metaphor, the architecture provides element and dimension tagging. The building blocks can include rows, columns, and optional trees. Building blocks are selected and grouped into a report definition, which definition is utilized to retrieve and process basis data into fact data in the final reports. The reporter mechanism removes the complexities in both the XBRL standard and XML, and ensures that the user associates the information appropriately within the report definition. The architecture extends the building block metaphor to include dimension tagging. A portion of the information from each building block is used to produce a fully qualified dimension context and logical validation is performed to ensure accuracy.

A first liquid cooling manifold 204 is positioned along one end of the parallel row of connectors 210 and a second liquid cooling manifold 206 is positioned along the other end of the parallel row of connectors 210. A plurality of heat sink devices 208, each having an elongated shape, run parallel to, and on each side of, the plurality of connectors 210. The plurality of heat sink devices 208 are coupled to the first and second liquid cooling manifolds.

摘要: A virtual coatings application system has several features to enhance the realism of simulated spray painting. The system generally includes a display screen on which is defined a virtual surface (such as a truck door) that is intended to be virtually painted or coated by the user. Alternatively, the system includes a head-mounted display unit that displays a virtual spray painting environment in which the virtual surface is defined. The user operates an instrumented spray gun controller that outputs one or more signals representing data as to the status of the controls on the spray gun controller. The system also has a motion tracking system that tracks the position and orientation of the spray gun controller with respect to the virtual surface. Simulation software generates virtual spray pattern data in response to at least the data from the spray gun controller and the position and orientation data received from the tracking system. Virtual spray pattern images are displayed in real time on the virtual surface in accordance with the accumulation of virtual spray pattern data at each location on the virtual surface.
