    摘要: A steel retainer (3), which retains needle rollers (2), is formed from a steel plate containing 0.15 to 1.10% by mass of carbon. After being formed, the steel plate is subjected to induction heat treatment which includes induction hardening and induction tempering. Such heat treatment can be carried out efficiently in a short period of time, using compact treatment facilities, even in small-lot production. The retainer (3) thus formed is sufficiently resistant to wear and surface damage, and is high in fatigue strength and fracture strength as a whole.

A first roller contact part comprising a first roller stopper to prevent the roller from escaping upward and a first roller guide surface to guide a roller rotation on its processed surface, and a second roller contact part comprising a second roller stopper to prevent the roller from escaping downward and a second roller guide surface to guide the roller rotation on its processed surface are provided on a wall surface of the pocket opposed to an outer periphery of the roller. In addition, a non-contact part retreating from the roller contact part is provided.

    摘要: A support structure carrying a thrust load of a compressor has a swash plate which contributes to a compressing operation by rotating according to rotation of a rotating shaft which is rotatably supported by a housing. The swash plate is rotatably supported with respect to the housing, and the support structure includes a thrust needle roller bearing having double-row needle rollers. The support structure carrying a thrust load of a compressor and the thrust needle roller bearing are thus obtained, with an improvement in inflow and outflow of a lubricating oil, a reduction of the differential slip of the needle rollers, and an improvement in strength durability.

    摘要: A rolling contact bearing assembly includes a cage including two or more arcuate members each having a plurality of pockets defined therein for accommodating a corresponding number of rollers arranged consecutively in a circumferential direction to form a ring shaped assembly. The arcuate members are connected together by a retention ring, having an elasticity, over a circumference of the cage. The arcuate members are displaced radially outwardly against an elastic compressive force of the retention ring such that circumferential gaps are formed at joints between the neighboring arcuate members. The arcuate members are held in a condition movable in the circumferential direction by a distance equal to the size of the circumferential gaps.
