摘要： A wireless system includes plural different access networks and terminals (19, 20) having interfaces corresponding to the plural different access networks (3, 5, 9, 13). Each of the access networks includes an access gateway (AGW) performing flow control. Upon receiving a packet transmission stop signal, the AGW determines whether a predetermined message transmitting chance is given. The AGW includes a control unit that transmits a message that requests a handover to another access network to a terminal when the message transmitting chance is given. The terminal includes a unit that performs a handover to another access network, upon receiving the message.

摘要： In a wireless communications system operating according to CDMA or the like, when one terminal simultaneously performs communication using multiple wireless resources (e.g., multiple carriers), there was a problem that when it was attempted to guarantee network mobility by the same soft handoff system as in the case where communication was performed using only one wireless resource, efficiency suffered from the viewpoint of network forwarding load, processing load and wireless resource occupancy time. Soft handoff termination is judged and soft handoff is forcibly terminated according to whether or not the data rate obtained for all resources on the network side satisfies a requested rate, based on a reception state notification from a terminal concerning wireless resources. By performing this processing, the soft handoff period is shortened, sufficient received strength in the terminal is maintained and terminal mobility is guaranteed, while at the same time network forwarding load, terminal processing load and wireless resource occupancy time are suppressed to the absolute minimum.

摘要： A thermoplastic resin composition is prepared by blending 50-95 wt. % of a copolymer (A) of 10-75 wt. % of .alpha.-methyl styrene, 10-60 wt. % of methyl methacrylate, 5-35 wt. % of acrylonitrile and 0-20 wt. % of a monomer copolymerizable therewith; and 5-50 wt. % of a graft copolymer (B) comprising 50-85 wt. parts of a butadiene-based rubber polymer and 15-50 wt. parts of a vinyl monomer graft-polymerized onto the rubber polymer. The butadiene-based rubber polymer includes 50-98 wt. % of butadiene, 2-50 wt. % of an aromatic polycyclic vinyl monomer represented by a formula (I) below and 0-20 wt. % of a monomer copolymerizable therewith: ##STR1## wherein R denotes an optionally substituted biphenylyl or naphthyl group, and R.sub.1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. The thermoplastic resin composition is provided with a good balance among heat-resistance, impact resistance, transparency and processability because the graft copolymer (B) using an aromatic polycyclic vinyl monomer shows a good impact resistance-modifying effect while retaining a relatively high refractive index and the copolymer (A) shows a good heat resistance and a relatively low refractive index.
