    摘要: A device for producing a rolled hemming of a cloth including a rolling tool for rolling an edge of said cloth therein. The tool has an outer shell member and an inner shell member. A spiral shaped gap is formed between the shells for feeding the cloth edge therethrough. The gap has an entry opening for receiving the cloth edge and a discharge opening from which the cloth edge is discharged. The width of said gap decreases from the entry opening to the discharge opening. The tool is fixedly mounted upstream of a presser foot of a sewing machine with respect to a feeding direction of the cloth and downstream of the presser foot with respect to a cloth edge rolling direction. A cloth feeding mechanism for coercively tucking the cloth into the rolling tool in the rolling direction includes an endless sliding member for clamping the cloth edge at a portion of the shells whereby a portion of the cloth is exposed out of both shell members; and a rotary driving mechanism for driving the endless sliding member.

    摘要: A press machine slide stroke adjusting apparatus comprises an eccentric sleeve connected to a slide and fitted over a circular eccentric portion of a crank shaft, first teeth provided on the eccentric sleeve and concentric to the circular eccentric portion, a main gear disposed on the crank shaft in coaxial relationship therewith, and second teeth meshing with the first teeth and provided on main gear coaxially with the crank shaft. The crank shaft is disconnected and connected from and to the main gear by coupling. A hydraulic actuator disengages the crank shaft from the main gear. The rotation of the crank shaft disconnected from the main gear is prevented by engagement of a pin and an engaging hole in an engaging block. Under such conditions, the eccentric sleeve is turned relative to the circular eccentric portion to adjust a vertical stroke of the slide.

    摘要: A semiconductor pressure sensor (720) includes a thin film piezoelectric element (701) which applies strain to a portion of a semiconductor substrate that corresponds to a thin region (402). The thin film piezoelectric element (701) is formed at a distance away from diffusion resistors (406, 408, 410, and 412) functioning as strain gauges and is extended to the proximity of a bonding pad (716A) connected to an upper electrode layer of the thin film piezoelectric element and a bonding pad (716F) connected to a lower electrode thereof. The diffusion resistors (406, 408, 410, and 412) constitute a bridge circuit by metal wiring (722) and diffusion wiring (724). During self-diagnosis, a prescribed voltage is applied to a thin film piezoelectric element (701). If the output difference of the bridge circuit between before and after the voltage application falls outside a prescribed range, it is determined that a breakage occurs in the semiconductor pressure sensor (720).
