    摘要: A technique for transmitting uplink scheduling grant information (702) from a network node to a wireless device in unlicensed spectrum is described. As to a method aspect of the technique, a listen before talk (LBT) process is performed (202) on each of at least one carrier in the unlicensed spectrum. The uplink scheduling grant information is transmitted (304) on one of the at least one carrier in response to a positive result of the LBT process on the one carrier. The uplink scheduling grant information (702) is indicative of an uplink scheduling grant on multiple carriers in the unlicensed spectrum.

    摘要: A method and network node for adaptation of contention windows in a multicarrier wireless communication system implementing a listen-before-talk protocol are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes determining at least one component carrier (CC), of multiple CCs to serve as a backoff channel. The method further includes performing a listen-before-talk procedure on the at least one CC serving as a backoff channel. The listen-before-talk procedure includes sensing for each backoff channel whether a clear channel exists during a backoff period drawn from a contention window (CW). The LBT procedure also includes deferring transmitting on a CC for which the sensing does not indicate that a clear channel exists. The LBT procedure also includes transmitting on a CC for which the sensing indicates a clear channel exists. The method also includes determining a size of the CW based on at least one transmission feedback value.

    摘要: A radio access node or wireless device performs LBT on a channel and dynamically determines a transmission starting point on the channel, based on whether the LBT succeeds before or after a slot boundary between a slot n and a previous slot n−1. In response to determining that the LBT succeeds before the slot boundary, a transmission scheduled for the slot n is extended to start earlier, in the previous slot n−1. Otherwise, in response to determining that the LBT succeeds after the slot boundary, either a transmission scheduled for a next slot n+1 is extended to start earlier, in the slot n, or a transmission scheduled for the a second mini-slot of the slot n is extended to start earlier, in a first mini-slot of the slot n.

    摘要: A technique for accessing a wireless channel by a station using an access technology in coexistence with the same or another access technology on the wireless channel is described. As to a method aspect, resources (302) on the wireless channel are allocated or an allocation (300) therefor is received at the station. The allocation is not uniquely associated with data to be transmitted by the station on the wireless channel. If data to be transmitted by the station on the wireless channel is available, a listen before talk (LBT) process is performed on the wireless channel or transmission is deferred to satisfy a time-averaged transmit constraint. The data is transmitted by the station using at least one of the allocated resources (302) on the wireless channel, if the LBT process indicates that the wireless channel is clear for the at least one allocated resource (302) or if the time-averaged transmit constraint is satisfied for the at least one allocated resource (302).

    摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for restricting autonomous uplink transmissions by a wireless device in a wireless communication system such that wireless devices performing autonomous uplink transmissions can coexist with wireless devices performing scheduled uplink transmissions in a cell requiring Listen-Before-Talk (LBT). In some embodiments, a method of operation of a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises receiving, from a radio access node, an indication of which subframes belong to a same channel occupancy within a cell that requires LBT and restricting performance of autonomous uplink transmissions by the wireless device based on the indication of which subframes belong to the same channel occupancy. By restricting autonomous uplink transmissions in this manner, the wireless device can coexist with scheduled wireless devices in the same cell.
