摘要: Systems and methods for deriving a cardiac cycle signal by selecting images of a portion of a cardiovascular system include receiving a plurality of images from a scanner that have been recorded over a period of time. The images represent one or more locations along the extent of the cardiovascular system. The images are then selected based on common criteria determined from the plurality of images and without reference to an external signal. The common criteria comprises changes in the size of a cross section of the aorta, changes in the volume of the heart, changes in the area of a cross section of the heart. In addition, the criteria can include the mean pixel difference between adjacent images.

摘要: A hospital documentation system that allows for the electronic capture of data for patient forms. The electronic forms constitute a medical record for the patient. The record is stored and is available electronically to users throughout the institution, both on site and off site as long as a connection to the institution's network is available. Hospital coders review the documentation concurrent with the patient being within the hospital, and can submit queries to the physician, the results of which are also forms captured electronically within the medical record that may be reviewed by the hospital coders. The medical record is used in addition to other systems by the coders to perform hospital coding on the patient case, and ultimately to generate hospital bills and claims for the patient.

摘要: Battery chargers and combinations. In some aspects and in some constructions, the invention may provide a combination including a battery charger having a housing n a charging circuit, and protective structure separate from and connectable with the battery charger. The protective structure, when connected, extending from the housing beyond a battery connected to the battery charger. In some aspects and in some constructions, the invention may also provide a combination including a first battery charger, a second battery charger and a connecting structure operable to connect the first battery charger and the second battery charger as a unit. In some aspects and in some constructions, the invention may further provide a combination including a battery charger and a handle separate from and connectable with the battery charger. In addition, in some aspects and in some constructions, the invention may provide a battery charger including a housing having a base and an upper portion opposite the base. A height is defined between the base and the upper portion and the base having a width less than or equal to the height.

摘要: A method of forming metallic connector patterns for solar cells, whereby an embosser having raised features shaped in the form of a metallic connector pattern is used to attach a portion of a metallic foil to a transparent conductive layer formed on a top transparent surface of a solar cell structure. The raised surfaces of the embosser press the metallic foil portion against the transparent conductive layer. Heat and pressure directed to the metallic foil portion attach the metallic foil portion to the underlying transparent conductive layer, and then the rest of the metallic foil, which is not attached to the transparent conductive layer, is removed.
