It can be used by emergency medical technicians, law enforcement officers, military personnel, mechanics, construction workers, plumbers, electricians, or others who require specific areas to be illuminated in the course of their work. It can also be used by those requiring illumination for visibility or safety in dim or nighttime conditions such as nighttime jogging, roadside emergencies, and deep sea diving. The portable lighting assembly includes a coupling member capable of re-attaching to objects such that the lighting assembly could be transferred from one object to another.

摘要: A light fixture with a sensor port that allows a sensor to be connected to the light fixture. The connection provides power to the sensor. The connection also provides a communications link between the sensor and the light fixture which allows data generated by the sensor to be communicated from the light fixture to a remote location with the communications devices used by the light fixture to report battery test results. A plurality of these light fixtures and sensors are combined together to define a sensor network.

摘要: LED lighting systems, mounting configurations, and light fixtures are disclosed for original and retrofit configurations. Some configurations mount the light fixture with a mounting bracket that allows for the removal and replacement of the light fixture in about the same time as a traditional light bulb change. Some configurations provide for fuse removal and replacement without the need to dismount the light fixture from its mounting bracket or without the need to open the housing of the light fixture to access the fuses. Some configurations use a battery backup system and self-check methods with LED light fixtures configured for public transportation applications.

摘要: A light fixture includes an enclosure having a top side and an opposing underside, and a luminaire module. The luminaire module includes a panel, a plurality of LEDs, a first reflector, and a second reflector. The panel extends along the opposing underside of the enclosure. The plurality of LEDs are coupled to the panel and arranged in at least one row. The at least one row has a first lateral side and a second lateral side. The first reflector is coupled to the panel and disposed along the first lateral side of the plurality of LEDs. The second reflector are coupled to the panel and disposed along the second lateral side of the plurality of LEDs. The panel is releasably attached to the enclosure such that replacement of the panel simultaneously replaces the plurality of LEDs, the first reflector, and the second reflector.

The emergency lighting module includes a first input configured to receive a DC input voltage from the solid state luminaire, a second input configured to receive a status signal indicative of the status of an AC line voltage, and a first output configured to supply a DC output voltage to the solid state luminaire. The emergency lighting module is configured to supply the DC output voltage to the solid state luminaire in response to a reduction of the AC line voltage.
