    摘要: In a method for operating a medical imaging system and a medical imaging system operating according to such a method, a measurement sequence is divided into a number of partial sequences, with each of the partial sequences resulting in a loading of at least one of these system components when the measurement sequence is executed. The partial sequences are evaluated, in terms of their number and duration, using a computerized model in order to determine whether a load limit for the at least one of the system components is exceeded. If so, the number or duration of the partial sequences is modified, and a check using the computer model is again implemented. A number or respective duration of the partial sequences that results in the load limit not being exceeded is then used as a final output in order to operate the medical imaging system.

    摘要: A magnetic resonance system has a basic magnet system that generates a temporally static, spatially homogeneous basic magnetic field in an examination volume of the magnetic resonance system, and a radio-frequency system. An overlay system generates overlay fields in the examination volume that, together with the basic field, form a complete field. The overlay system has at least one first order field system and at least one second order field system. The first order field system generates fields that, to a first approximation, exhibit a spatial dependency of the first order. The second order field system generates fields that, to a first approximation, exhibit a spatial dependency of the second order. A control device operates the radio-frequency system with an operating frequency and controls the first and second order field systems to cause a deviation between the complete field and a desired gradient to exhibit a spatial dependency of the second order and to satisfy a minimum condition within a correction volume.

    摘要: In a magnetic resonance (MR) apparatus and an operating method for the apparatus, image distortions are corrected that occur in exposures of diffusion-weighted MR images of an examination subject.A diffusion-weighted image is acquired using a first acquisition process.Another diffusion-weighted reference image is acquired using a second acquisition process that is different than the first acquisition process.The second acquisition process causes significantly smaller eddy current-dependent image distortions than the first acquisition process given the same b-value.Correction parameters to correct the image distortions of the diffusion-weighted image are determined by comparing the diffusion-weighted image with the reference image in order to determine the correction parameters such that the diffusion-weighted image can be converted into the reference image with the aid of the correction parameters.

Different active volumes are associated with the functional sub-sequences. In addition to the sequence control data, active volume position data are provided to the control device that define bearing and extent of the active volumes associated with the different functional sub-sequences. Control signals to implement the measurement sequence for the different subsystems are generated automatically by the control device based on the sequence control data and the active volume position data so that the individual functional sub-sequences are locally optimized at least with regard to a sub-region of their associated active volume.

    摘要: In an MR imaging method and apparatus which MR images with improved signal intensity, improved signal-noise ratio, improved contrast and improved image homogeneity can be acquired, the polarization state of the magnetic field of the RF pulses radiated into the measurement subject and of the resonance signals emitted by the measurement subject are distorted by the interaction with electrically-active materials of the measurement subject. In the transmission branch of the RF system the RF pulses emitted by a transmission coil are pre-distorted with regard to their polarization state. The sensitivity of the reception branch is optimized such that it is capable of detecting resonance signals independent of their polarization state.

    摘要: A computer receives information about a measurement sequence to be implemented by a medical imaging system. The computer determines at least one group of preliminary control sequences for power control devices of the medical imaging system so that the power control devices are caused to control (activate) image-influencing emission devices of the imaging medical system corresponding to the determined control sequences, and (insofar as it concerns the control of the image-influencing emission devices) with the measurement sequence to be implemented. The computer determines a load state curve for each group of preliminary control sequences using a model of at least the image-influencing emission devices and the power control devices for these devices using the respective initial load state and the respective control sequence of the image-influencing emission devices and the power control devices. The computer checks for each group whether each load state curve determined for this group remains below a load limit. The computer outputs as final control sequences the preliminary control sequences of one of the groups whose determined load state curves remain below the load limit.

    摘要: In a method for adjustment of the field strength of radio-frequency pulses as well as a magnetic resonance measurement system, radio-frequency pulses are emitted by a radio-frequency antenna of a magnetic resonance measurement system in a magnetic resonance measurement. A test volume slice is initially excited by emission of radio-frequency pulses with a defined pulse amplitude by the appertaining radio-frequency antenna and one-dimensional, spatially-resolved characteristic values are determined along an extent direction of the test volume slice. The one-dimensional, spatially-resolved characteristic values respectively represent a local field strength of the B1 field in strips of the test volume slice running perpendicular to the extent direction. An average value of the determined characteristic values is then formed over at least over one determined segment along the extent direction of the test volume slice. A pulse amplitude of the radio-frequency pulses that is to be set for the magnetic resonance measurement to be implemented is determined on the basis of the average value.
