Abstract:
Systems and methods for estimating inter-frequency measurements used for radio network functions are disclosed. The systems and methods described allow systems to evaluate the quality of a second frequency by using offset adjusted measurements on a first frequency. By using the described methods, system capacity is increased by providing a “low cost” measurement mechanism for support of handover that substantially balance the load between two or more frequency bands. By using the proposed method, handover can be performed more frequently and the interference within each frequency band can therefore be kept at a more optimal level.
Abstract:
A wireless telecommunications system is described in which mobile station power control is affected by a functional combination of signal-to-interference sampling, bit error rate sampling, and frame error rate sample. The signal-to-interference sampling provides rapid power control adjustment, while the bit error rate and frame error rate factors provide less speedy but better power control adjustment. The power control function has applicability in single link and multiple link power control adjustments.

The invention relates to an especially handy and user-friendly multiple purpose tool for the sport of golf, which is light yet solidly built. Operation of the pitch fork is done with one hand, as well as the removal and insertion of the ball marker. The blade of a new kind of tee hole puncher for hard or frozen ground also serves for cleaning the flutes of the golf club. It is also combined with additional functional elements like nail files, cap openers, and the like. The economically manufacturable tool can also include, for general use, a knife blade, a scissors, a pincer, a tooth pick, a ball point pen, and other tools as the case may be.

The present invention also relates to a solid dispersion comprising a dispersing agent and a dispersed phase, said dispersed phase comprising rotigotine and polyvinylpyrrolidone, wherein the weight ratio of rotigotine to polyvinylpyrrolidone is in a range from about 9:3.5 to about 9:6, a pharmaceutical composition comprising such a solid dispersion, in particular a transdermal therapeutic system, as well as a method for the preparation thereof.
Abstract:
The invention relates to methods and devices for supporting configuration of a measurement gap pattern for a user equipment requiring measurement gaps for performing an inter-frequency measurement. A radio network node receives an indication from the user equipment that the user equipment is going to perform an inter-frequency measurement for positioning, which inter-frequency measurement requires measurement gaps. The radio network node may determine a measurement gap pattern for performing the inter-frequency measurement and may signal, to the user equipment, information to initiate use of the determined measurement gap pattern in the user equipment. Alternatively the user equipment configures the measurement gap pattern itself based on a set of pre-defined rules.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method implemented in a user equipment 4 of a communication network 1 for reporting inter-radio access technologies measurements. The communication network 1 comprises a first radio access technology system 2 and a second radio access technology system 3. The user equipment 4 is connected to a primary serving cell of the first radio access technology system 2 and a secondary serving cell of the second radio access technology system 3. The method comprises: performing 110 signal strength measurements in the first radio access technology system 2; performing 120 signal strength measurements in the second radio access technology system 3; determining 130, 145, 230, 240, based on the signal strength measurements, whether a criterion for a measurement event relating to the second radio access technology system 3 is fulfilled, and transmitting 150, for a fulfilled criterion, a corresponding measurement report to the communication network 1. The invention also relates to a user equipment, network node and methods in a network node.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for supporting positioning with a minimum of assistance data signalling. The method in the radio device that shall perform the positioning measurements comprises determining (440) a positioning reference signal pattern, based on a cell identity and a pre-defined mapping between the cell identity and the positioning reference signal pattern, and performing (450) positioning measurements based on the determined positioning reference signal pattern.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a user equipment for a telecommunications system, the telecommunications system comprising at least a first radio basestation. The user equipment comprises means for controlling a transmission power of the user equipment, such that said transmission power has a first value for a first set of one or more signals sent over a physical channel between the user equipment and the first radio basestation. The first value and said second value are different. In alternative embodiments, the second set of signals are transmitted taking into account information from the serving cell and a neighboring cell, while the first set of signals are transmitted taking into account information from the serving cell only.
Abstract:
Embodiments herein relate to a method in a second network node (13,14) for detecting a short stay handover of a user equipment (11) in a second cell (16) in a telecommunication system (10). The user equipment (11) is handed over from a first cell (15) to the second cell (16) and from the second cell (16) to a third cell (17) in the telecommunication system (10). The second network node sends, to a first network node (12,18), an indication in a message that a short stay handover has occurred when determined that the user equipment (11) is handed over to the third cell (17) before a time threshold, thereby enabling the first network node (12,18) to detect the short stay handover.
