    摘要： There is provided an air conditioner, and more particularly, an apparatus and method for controlling a heating operation in a heat pump system, in which a continuous heating operation is provided. 1. The apparatus for controlling a heating operation in a heat pump system includes: at least one compressor for compressing a refrigerant into a high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant vapor; a passage switching unit for switching a refrigerant circulation passage depending on a heating mode or a cooling mode; an indoor heat exchanger for condensing the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant vapor for a heating operation or a defrosting/heating operation of the heating mode; an expansion unit through which the condensed refrigerant passes during the defrosting/heating operation; an outdoor heat exchanger for defrosting at least one tube region by using the condensed refrigerant discharged from the expansion unit; and a defrosting control unit for expanding and decompressing the refrigerant that flows between the tube regions, or for bypassing the refrigerant.

An inner edge may define an end of a side of each of the plurality of blades, the inner edge extending toward a rotational shaft of the plurality of blades, and an outer edge may define an end opposite to the inner edge. A protrusion may protrude from the outer edge in one direction.

    摘要： Provided are an axial flow fan and an air conditioner outdoor unit including the axial flow fan. The axial flow fan includes a hub and blades disposed on an outer surface of the hub. Each of the blades satisfies that a shortest distance measured from an imaginary line (L2) passing through a center of the hub to a front end of an outer edge of the blade is greater than a shortest distance measured from the imaginary line (L2) to a rear end of the outer edge of the blade. The front end of the outer edge of the blade is a leading end in a rotation direction of the blade, and the rear end of the outer edge of the blade is a trailing end in the rotation direction of the blade. Owing to the shape of the blade, noise can be reduced while increasing the flowrate of air.

The method may include determining whether the air conditioner is operating in an abnormal state, and, when the air conditioner is operating in the abnormal state, operating a compressor in a safe mode having a different frequency pattern than when it is operated in a normal mode of the compressor. This allows the air conditioner to provide continuous heating/cooling, even when operating in an abnormal state.
