摘要： The present invention relates to a communication system and method, an information processing terminal and method, and an information processing device and method which enable simple and secure restricted access. When a PDA 11 is brought close, a reader 2 of a personal computer 1 reads a device ID form an IC tag 12. The personal computer 1 registers device IDs on a connection permission list, and permits only devices registered on the list to connect. When being instructed to perform accessing, the PDA 11 controls a communication unit to access the personal computer 1 and to transmits its device ID. The personal computer 1 determines whether or not the transmitted ID is registered on the connection permission list, and permits the connection when determining that the ID is registered. The present invention can be applied to various information processing devices such as a personal computer and a PDA.

摘要： A user is enabled to easily access a data area on a network, and to use the data area with security, wherein a recording medium records an address for accessing a prescribed area of a storage apparatus installed in an other apparatus and keys to be used for encrypting data. When the recording medium is installed in the apparatus, the address is read-out from the recording medium and, based on the read-out address, accessing to the prescribed area is started. When the user actually accesses the recording medium, the prescribed area is accessed. In the apparatus to which the recording medium is installed, processing such as a path conversion is carried out as required so that the user is able to operate without mentioning such procedure.

The information-processing device includes: a synchronous shot image-acquiring part acquiring shot images taken by the cameras at a common timing from the cameras; an image-evaluating part evaluating the condition of the subject in the shot image for each of the shot images taken at a common timing acquired by the synchronous shot image-acquiring part based on predetermined evaluation criteria to assign an evaluation value to each shot image; a prioritizing part assigning a priority to each shot image according to the evaluation value assigned to each shot image by the image-evaluating part; and a display control part making a display device display the shot images according to priorities assigned to the shot images by the prioritizing part.

After establishing the Bluetooth communication, the information board 1 provides the acquired information to the PDA 11 by means of the Bluetooth communication. The present invention may be applied to various types of information processing apparatuses for providing information to users.

Furthermore, it is possible to represent a motion using a plurality of still pictures thereby transmitting a large amount of information. Because the motion is represented using only a plurality of still pictures, the data size is much smaller than is required to represent a motion using a moving picture.

摘要： When a human body touches any of linear electrode array mutually isolated and arranged in X and Y directions of an input device, an inducing signal from wiring of a commercial power supply is transmitted by way of the human body, so that an inducing voltage is generated at the linear electrode to which the human body touches. The input device detects the inducing voltage and outputs the detected inducing voltage to a signal processing section. The signal processing section detects a coordinate where the input device detects the inducing voltage, identifies a frequency of the inducing signal transmitted by way of the human body, and outputs the information to an output terminal.
