摘要： A magnetic display panel in which syneresis is completely eliminated between a colorant and a dispersion medium by the simultaneous use of organic and inorganic thickener. A liquid sealing space is provided between two substrates sealed by an adhesive in which space a dispersing liquid having a yield value of at least 5 dyne/cm.sup.2 is filled. The dispersing liquid is composed of fine magnetic particles, a colorant, a dispersion medium and the organic and inorganic thickeners. The organic thickener is preferably one of olefinic polymer, olefinic copolymer, wax, metal soap and dextrin fatty acid ester while inorganic thickener is preferably one of fine powder silicic acid and fine powder silicate.

摘要： A pickup device for picking up sound generated by the vocal chords and transmitted through bones from the nasal bone. A microphone (11) is mounted on or embedded into an eyeglass-like assembly (13, 15). When the microphone is mounted as a nosepiece, it is made into direct contact with the nose so that it directly picks up vibration transmitted through the nasal bone. When the microphone is mounted on the eyeglass-like frame or embedded therein, it picks up vibration transmitted through the nosepieces and eyeglass-like frame. A cord (12) whose one end is electrically connected to the microphone is held by holding member extended from the eyeglass-like assembly (13, 15) so that the transmission of mechanical vibration to the microphone is prevented.

摘要： An aqueous ink is disclosed which comprises an emulsion of a polymeric dyestuff which is prepared by bonding a water-insoluble polymer containing amino groups with a dye selected from the group consisting of anion-type dyes and reactive dyes, which aqueous ink is free from globbing and skipping during writing and yields a high quality written image. When desired, a water-soluble viscosity-adjustment agent can also added to this aqueous ink. In this case, the viscosity of the aqueous ink can be adjusted to be in the range of 50 cps to 3000 cps and the ink is particularly suitable for use with a ball-point pen with a simple structure.

As a result, screw cutting can be accomplished with remarkably low resistance to cutting, without burrs, and with a remarkably low rate of abrasive wear of the cutting tip. This lathe is highly suitable for threading articles of difficult-to-machine materials such as stainless steel, titanium, and beryllium copper, and particularly tubular articles of small diameters and having thin walls.

摘要： A fountain pen in which the resiliency of the pen tip is continuously variable. The pen tip and core are surrounded at their mounting end by a pen core cover. A guide slot is formed in a guide portion of the cover in which is positioned a flexible tongue-shaped retaining member which arches from the slot towards the pen point. A knob extends from the mounting portion of the retaining member into a spiral groove in the inner surface of a rotatable cylindrical adjustment sleeve. Rotation of the sleeve moves the retaining member in and out to thereby adjust the resiliency of the tip.
