    摘要: A numerical controller includes a motion start point determination unit that calculates a cycle motion start point where the screw thread cutting cycle is to be started, an acceleration/deceleration control unit that moves the tool from the cycle motion start point to a screw thread cutting start point with motions of a plurality of axes overlapped, and a control unit that controls motions of a machining device based on control instructions received from an instruction analysis unit and the acceleration/deceleration control unit. The cycle motion start point is a point from which acceleration or deceleration of a first axis and a second axis orthogonal to the first axis is started so as to make a speed of the first axis reach a specified cutting feed speed and to make a speed of the second axis substantially become zero at time of arrival at the screw thread cutting start point.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a screw-in element having a changing thread profile, in particular an artificial hip joint socket which may be screwed in, and a method for producing screw-in elements of this type. For the purpose of implementing a specific curve of the thread tooth height along the thread extension, it is suggested that the flank of the thread tooth pointing in the screw-in direction be implemented having a constant angle, and the other flank of the thread tooth be implemented having a changing angle. In addition, it is suggested that a type of staircase function made of ramps and steps be superimposed on the thread course to implement a clearance angle and an exposed position of the thread tooth in this way. The practical implementation of the method requires a CNC machine, preferably a CNC lathe, having a so-called B axis and a specific procedure in regard to the programming. The thread design according to the present invention results, in particular with a self-cutting design, in a reduction of the force required when screwing into tough material.

    摘要: A system for cutting a given portion of a surface of a core insert includes a piezoelectric actuator, a turning tool, a rotating member, a driving unit and a numerically-controlled unit. The controlling unit stores coordinates of the storing coordinates of each point on the given portion of the surface in a predetermined coordinate system, and compares the instant coordinates of the cutting portion of the turning tool with the stored coordinates of the given portion, thus controlling the piezoelectric actuator to drive the turning tool to cut the given portion of the surface if the coordinates of the cutting portion of the turning tool match with the stored coordinates of any point on the given portion of the surface.

The base has a desired structural rigidity such that when force is exerted on the base, the base substantially prohibits deflection. A flexible layer covers the base. The flexible layer has a mating configuration slightly larger than the base to form a pocket. A gel material is positioned into the pocket to provide resilient characteristics. A mechanism on the base enables the gel gripping member to be secured with the housing of the power tool.

    摘要: Improved apparatus for threading a longitudinally divided partial hole in a machine component has a tap driving spindle selectively and reciprocally carried by a frame. On a base plate is a positioning means for holding the component in a predetermined relationship with the frame and locater means for accurately aligning the component with the tap driving spindle. A movable guide shoe that is operable in combination with the locater means opposes the partial hole to be threaded and forms temporarily an opposed partial hole that accurately guides the tap. Adjustment and retainer means are used for selective positioning of the guide shoe in relation to the tap guide hole.
